The small Auray IP-S Isolation Pads for Studio Monitors (Small)from Auray IP-S Isolation Pads for Studio Monitors (Small)is a monitor speaker isolation pad made from high-density acoustic foam. It is designed to decouple your monitor speakers from its resting surface by absorbing the monitor's vibrations. This stops reverberation through the desk or speaker stands, therefore preventing unwanted resonance. Removing these unwelcome vibrations results in greater depth of field, tighter low end and transient response, and a higher level of detail across the frequency spectrum.

A: From the looks of it, these should snap into the feet of the Ronford Baker Baby if you are not using the spreader, if you are, they there would be no place for the feet to snap into.

A: That wire is about 6 feet long and is bare wire on the end. You use those wires to add the connector type needed for your application. In my case I added a XLR connector so a wireless transmitter could be used. That same connection could be attached to audio jacks built in to the floor that feed a sound system.

A: In the standard configuration, the ball head would have a maximum height of 3.6 inches (92 mm). The diameter may differ depending on how the ball head is positioned, but when level for horizontal shooting, the width and length would be 2.7" x 3" (68mm x 75mm). The ball head weighs 14 oz (397 g).

[0.315 lb] I bought a pair of these mostly to get free shipping. I've heard mixed things about the usefulness of isolation pads. However, after recalibrating with Sonarworks, there was a clear improvement in the bottom end. The response was smoother overall, and required less correction from the software. These also happen to be exactly the right size for my 5 monitors. I imagine most other brands (with 5 woofers) would fit nicely as well. 5

[0.315 lb] You wouldn't believe something as simple as this will improve the sound of your monitors, but they do! These iso pads improved the sound of the monitors that are sitting on my desk. Suddenly I hear much more bass because the speaker cabinets are able to vibrate since they're not sitting on a hard surface. And the pads let you angle the speakers up or down so they point directly at you. The Auray iso pads are resonably priced and made with good quality foam for excellent speaker support. 5

[12.8 x 8 x 2.5"] If you have any sort of studio monitors, you really ought to have isolation pads. I have Eris E5s and these fit perfectly. They provide a very noticeable difference in response, clarity. Auralex may have the big name, but the MoPads I received were sloppily made, the fronts were different dimensions, badges crooked. I am much happier with these. Although they function the same, these are better looking than two mismatched pads under each monitor, and they dont leave a bunch of foam dust like the Auralex pads. Functionally equivalent (much cleaner sound than on the desk), but less cost, and better quality. 5
