[1.7 in] In remodeling my home, I wanted to synchronize one pair of TVs (Master Bedroom and Master Bath) and one triple of TVs (Kitchen, Family Room and Sun Room) to eliminate audio echoing between connected rooms. Each group is fed by the HDMI output of one cable box. I was told by my local A/V company that this was risky because of the +60 cabling distances required and the load on the cable boxes. I installed one Kramer 1:2 Distribution Amplifier and one Kramer 1:3 Distribution Amplifier. Cable runs were in made in-wall using 3 Kramer 66 Optical HDMI cables. Results? Perfection! 5

[3.3 lb] Before using this distribution amp I had a high quality passive splitter coming out of my cable box, and from there going 1) to a TV in the same room and 2) to a monitor in my home office that I occasionally use to watch TV while multitasking. The passive splitter caused the picture to dim and look a little bit dull, but it was still watchable. Once I installed this distribution amp in place of the passive splitter the picture looks clear and perfect on both monitors, just as though each was getting the signal coming directly out of the cable box. No loss of video quality at all, which is exactly what I was hoping from this unit. It delivers! In addition it is small and easy to place. I am very happy with the purchase. 5

[1.7 in] This pushes HDMI signal just right for me. Had two 100' runs for this to 2 monitors with no artifacts or loss of color or clarity. It had a 100' run from the switcher so 200' no issues. Perfect little box and man are they pricey though for 1x2. 5
