This 50mm f/1.2 lens is designed for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras and provides a 100mm equivalent focal length.

Bright, fast f/1.2 maximum aperture benefits working in difficult lighting conditions and also avails extensive control over shallow depth of field.

Two aspherical elements help to control chromatic and comatic aberrations in order to achieve greater sharpness and clarity.

An Ultra Multi-Coating has been applied to all lens elements in order to suppress lens flare and ghosting for increased contrast and color accuracy.

This manual focus lens has a non-rotating 62mm front filter mount to better enable the use of polarizing, graduated ND, and other filter types that require precise positioning.

Rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing out-of-focus quality when using selective focus or shallow depth of field techniques.

[62 mm (Front)] This lens is all metal and very well built. Hard to believe it is priced under $100. I tested it out doing some portraits outdoors in the snow I purposely shot wide open at f/1.2 and I was blown away with the subject to background separation. It is unbelievable. The lens was mounted on a fujifilm X-E3. The focus peaking was very responsive, accurate and nailed the eye on 98% of the shots. There was zero fringing and chromatic aberrations, shooting against the bright background. If you don't mind shooting with an all manual lens and want a 1.2 aperture this is a no brainer. It is now going to be one of my go to lenses.

[62 mm (Front)] I was looking for a f/1.2 portrait lens that had an approximate equivalent to 85mm, for my fuji X-E3. This TTArtisan came highly recommended and at it's price point I felt I would give it a try. Being a 50mm, on my APS-C sensor, it is a 75mm equivalent. The lens is all metal, very solid and extremely well made. It is a little heavy but balances well with my camera body. The clicked aperture ring is very smooth and so is the focus ring. It is an all manual lens so no information is communicated to the camera body and all focusing is done manually as well. I used it on a portrait session and I was blown away. I purposely shot at f/1.2 to see how it performed and I was quite impressed. Utilizing focus peaking, it nailed focus on 98% of the images. There was very minimal chromatic aberrations with some of the high contrast images, but not any more than would I get on a lens ten times the price and easily corrected in post. If you are looking for an inexpensive alternative to other higher priced lenses, that is well built, performs well and has character, I highly recommend it. At a price of under a hundred dollars, it's a steal.

[f/1.2] I'm maybe not as picky as other photogs (especially over $100 lenses) because I really think there is a lot of value in this compact and sharp lens. For one, I appreciate that the aperture ring clicks into place, most cheap manual lenses don't have that feature and it makes a difference to me when I'm out shooting on the street. It obviously has some weak spots like weight, chromatic aberration, vignetting, and image softness at f/1.2 but I see these more as fun challenges. If you do shoot at f/1.2 I suggest a minimum distance of 10ft to your subject but if you stop down to f/2 or f/4 the improvements to sharpness and vignette increase drastically. I often compare shots between this and my Viltrox 56mm f/1.4 and find it hard to tell the difference in sharpness when shooting at f/2. That's not a dig at the Viltrox, that's a boon for the TTArtisan. In all, there's no good reason to not have this lens in your kit unless you have no interest in shooting manual lenses.

[1.24 lb] The shallow depth of field is so tight and thin that any camera which does not have an IBIS will struggle to have a focus nailing eventfully.
This lens has a strange characteristic. I did took a lot of shoot with it in different settings and figured that at F2.0 is the best for creamy bokeh and smooth subject transition to background out of focus blur.
The image that I have uploaded will give you an idea how thin and sharp the focus it. I have taken this with X-30 body and now I am wishing to have either X-S10 or X-T4 which had IBIS.
This lens is heavy and bulky and gives a premium output. If you can live with slight corner blur with some serious purple fringing - yes sometimes in the center of the lens as well - and do take RAW mage then this the Italian Job for you and me and everyone.

[62 mm (Front)] It's my very first manual lens and I'm happy with this purchase. I watched a few promo reviews on youtube and I knew what to expect. I love the solid build, aperture ring is very smooth and clicks are soft and nice. Focus ring is very smooth as well. It's a real pleasure to shoot! Picture quality is great and sharp enough starting from 1.8 There are some chromatic aberrations, but I'm fine with it, especially considering the price.
