A: The ground unit will have the proper connections to attach this plate. It will be close the power connection as this has the proper barrel plug for the unit.

A: The HDMI input can be either YUV or RGB so this should work with a DVI-D to HDMI cable.

Q: 4. What is the processing delay in ms?

A: It is about 4 lines except when down converting which will be about a frame.

Q: 5. I would like to use my Sony FX1 as a webcam for Skype, Would this work?

A: It will work to convert to SDI. To stream to Skype using Blackmagic gear you could use the Web Presenter instead.

Q: 6. I WANT TO USE MY LATOP'S HDMI OUTPUT AT MY PAL SD-SDI VIDEO SWITCHER ?

A: If you have PAL video on your computer, the Blackmagic Design Mini Converter HDMI to SDI will support that signal and change it to SDI for your PAL switcher. If you have NTSC in your computer, you will need a signal converter. Please see attached.

Q: 7. Can this downscale 4k DCI (through 6G SDI) into 1080p (through HDMI)? It says it can downscale UHD (3840x2160), but can it also do 4K DCI (4096x2160)?

A: Yes, it will do that but the max frame rate for DCI 4K is 24p. Max UHD is 30p.

Q: 8. Will this Converter connect a PC of 1080p 60 with Blackmagic ATEM 2 ME Production Studio 4K Video Switch in default mode of 1080i 59.94?

A: yes it will

Q: 9. Can it be powered by the mini usb port?

A: No, requires 12 volt power.

Q: 10. Has anyone tried this model with a GoPro to TriCaster?

A: I have used this model on many routers and monitors and never had any issue with the conversion to SDI.

[8.25 x 5 x 0.4"] Canon cable for hdmi out on XC15 is very long and heavy. This is perfect size and function for my purpose 5

[19.7" / 50.0 cm] The micro HDMI connection is essentially proprietary for my SmallHD Focus 5. It works and allows me to use additional cameras with the Focus 5. 5

[19.7" / 50.0 cm] This is what you need if you would like to power up your Connex Transmitter, right from any P-Tap, or like me, directly from the DJI Ronin P-Tap, that is right under the camera. So you don't have a lot of unnecessary wire length. Used it for 3 days in a row at a large venue, and got no problem at all. 5
