A: If you are referring to the newest edition of the Summicron 35mm, the answer is yes. The filter sits inside of where the hood slides onto the outside of the lens. I have the lens in silver and got the filter in silver as well, and they look great together.

A: This all depends on the lens that you purchased. If the front element of the lens is a 77mm, then this filter will work just fine, if not, you will nee to use either step-up or step-down rings accordingly.
