Designed for short-throw projectors, the Da-Lite 27956 53x168" IDEA Panoramic Whiteboard Screenfrom Da-Lite 27956 53x168" IDEA Panoramic Whiteboard Screenis designed to cover the wall of a classroom, is hotspot-free under projection, and is magnetic. It can be used with an ultra-short throw projector as an interactive screen or as a conventional whiteboard with dry-erase markers. Q: 1. Do the frame and panels lay flat, or just in the C shape? And assuming it won’t self support if set up flat, any recommendations for supporting it upright?

A: If you position the frame flat, it would not be able to support itself. If you need to use the frame completely flat, I would recommend purchasing two (2) C-stands or roller stands, one on each side of the background, and two (2) Lastolite Grip Head for Skylite Frame/Panel Reflector, B&H # LAGHSL, to grip the side of the frame for support.

Q: 2. how deep is this? can the sides fold flat?

A: The angle of the side frames is to balance it standing alone and it goes almost all out before becoming unbalanced while standing alone. If you want to open it up all the way, you can do that, but you will want to balance it against a wall.

Q: 3. Is this a muslin material? Also, how is this with wrinkles? Thanks in advance.

A: Its like spandex! No wrikles! Its a good buy!

Q: 4. Is this white panoramic background cover see through? Or is it pretty thick?

A: It is opaque. You can't easily see through it.

Q: 5. do this green screen comes with the clips ?

A: It comes with the clips for the Lastolite frame.

Q: 7. will this do well for my videos on youtube and get a great background ?

A: Yes it will. This is a rather large green screen that will allow you to chroma key in backgrounds on your Youtube Videos.

Q: 8. How tall and how wide is the backdrop when attached to frame?

A: 2.3 m (7'5 ) high and 4 m (13') wide

Q: 9. If something were to happen to the fabric in the future, how would someone go about replacing it?

A: The fabrics are sold separately.

Q: 10. How long is the back panel between the two pivot joints? When you fold the sides forward at 45 degrees, does the material sort of bend evenly or flow, or does it create a visible up/down crease at the pivot point?

A: As per the manufacturer, the middle panel is 2 meters wide or 6.6 inches while the outer panels are 1 meter wide or 3.28 inches wide. The material does bend evenly as you fold the frame.

[16:9] This is my fourth ALR (ambient light reflecting) screen. The first thing to know is, there are no miracle screens. There are good ALR screens, but none perform miracles. Even the best don't show a great picture in a really bright room. The second thing to know is, don't necessarily believe the promotional pictures and videos from manufacturers that show amazing screen performance. They have positioned the screens, projectors and cameras to show the screens at their very best. You are unlikely to duplicate this in a real world situation. Almost all ALR screens have, to one extent or another, a major problem – screen artifacts. Shimmering, hot spots, sparkles, grainy appearance and so on. In order to eliminate this problem I have owned four different screens. My newest one, which wasn't available when I first started my quest for better picture quality, the Da-Lite Parallax, has none of these problems. Zero! The Parallax probably doesn't have quite as good of ambient light rejection properties as some of the other screens, but with some light control and careful placement of light sources, you can still have light in the room and a great picture. A great artifact free picture is really important now that we have 4K material to watch. 5

[2.5] This was the forth 9X12 dalite screen that we have purchased. We also have several 6X8's. We use them for PR meetings in various churches and schools around the US. Dalite screens are excellent! The newer fast fold frames are bigger and built stronger and the easy release latches work extremely well and you no longer need to fight the frame to put it together and take it apart. I often get assistance from a local person at the meeting and they are always amazed at how it all folds together and fits into the case. THe cases are much too big, I think and I have taken them and cut them down so they don't use up so much storage space. 5

[Front] The screen functions as described. we used the additional brackets to mount the screen to a concrete wall. The mechanical parts of the screen are smooth and easy to use! 5

[IDEA] great value, I looked all over for a large screen for a decent price and landed on this one. It had a little tag that said it self-retracts slowly and it doesn't but that was not a feature I was counting on anyway, it has a string to help it retract cautiously. would definitely recommend this one if you want a big screen on a budget! Takes 2+ people to mount, its pretty heavy when you're on a ladder! 5

[IDEA] From an installers point of view, this screen really is nice. Install a top and bottom rail and the screen slides over the rails for an easy installation. The screen snaps to the rear of the frame for a very tidy and clean cut appearance. High quality frame, packaged well, easy to install... a good deal all the way around. 5

[Front] Screen is being used in a 40 x 40 foot room with a 7.2 theater system. The projection screen is over the stage and is long enough to extend down and up out of the way when not in use. If the light were not in the way, I could have moved the screen even higher. 5
