Designed for short-throw projectors, the Da-Lite 27960 50x144" IDEA Panoramic Whiteboard Screenfrom Da-Lite 27960 50x144" IDEA Panoramic Whiteboard Screenis designed to cover the wall of a classroom, is hotspot-free under projection, and is magnetic. Q: 5. How long is the back panel between the two pivot joints? When you fold the sides forward at 45 degrees, does the material sort of bend evenly or flow, or does it create a visible up/down crease at the pivot point?

A: As per the manufacturer, the middle panel is 2 meters wide or 6.6 inches while the outer panels are 1 meter wide or 3.28 inches wide. The material does bend evenly as you fold the frame.

Q: 6. would this frame hold a neutral gray muslin backdrop (10x12) for those times when I don't want to use the green?

A: Hmmmm.yes...But it is proprietary... made for the clips and screen that come with it. You can drape another backdrop over the skeleton, yes...I just prefer the green with the clips attached - as it comes - which makes it tight ! Good Luck !!!

Q: 7. Is this panoramic set made of 1 large and 2 medium Lastolite frames? I want to buy it so I can use it as panoramic or as 6.6 background with two 3.6 reflectors/diffusers. Will that be possible?

A: No, that would not be possible. The frame included with the Lastolite Panoramic Background is a connected collapsible aluminum frame that has an elastic cord inside the framework's tubing. The tubes cannot be separated to use as a smaller background and separate reflectors. It is only designed for use as the 13-foot panoramic background.

Q: 8. how deep is this? can the sides fold flat?

A: The angle of the side frames is to balance it standing alone and it goes almost all out before becoming unbalanced while standing alone. If you want to open it up all the way, you can do that, but you will want to balance it against a wall.

Q: 9. If something were to happen to the fabric in the future, how would someone go about replacing it?

A: The fabrics are sold separately.

Q: 10. Is there a chroma key blue for this?

[16:9] I use it in a classroom at a university. It's got a great surface, brilliant white, big and more than I expected. It looks like a big LCD screen on the wall, way cool. 5

[2.5] I have used this Da-Lite screen for the past 3+ years. This is actually my second purchase. Compared to some brands and products, the price is reasonable. The design is solid, great for portable use and easy to setup. However, it weights close to 70 pounds. A great product nonetheless. 5

[2.5] We used the screen at our annual and special town meeting and found that it was better than anticipated. the powerpoints were projected so all could see no matter where they sat at our meeting. I couldn't be happier and worth the price. 5

[Front] Screen is being used in a 40 x 40 foot room with a 7.2 theater system. The projection screen is over the stage and is long enough to extend down and up out of the way when not in use. If the light were not in the way, I could have moved the screen even higher. 5

[2.5] This was the forth 9X12 dalite screen that we have purchased. We also have several 6X8's. We use them for PR meetings in various churches and schools around the US. Dalite screens are excellent! The newer fast fold frames are bigger and built stronger and the easy release latches work extremely well and you no longer need to fight the frame to put it together and take it apart. I often get assistance from a local person at the meeting and they are always amazed at how it all folds together and fits into the case. THe cases are much too big, I think and I have taken them and cut them down so they don't use up so much storage space. 5

[16:9] From an installers point of view, this screen really is nice. Install a top and bottom rail and the screen slides over the rails for an easy installation. The screen snaps to the rear of the frame for a very tidy and clean cut appearance. High quality frame, packaged well, easy to install... a good deal all the way around. 5
