Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How much time does it take to charge a fully depleted Nikon EN-EL15 battery? Does it take longer if I charge two bateries simultaneously?

A: It takes about 45 min. No difference if one or two batteries. Also nice to see the meter % charge.

Q: 2. If, instead of using the supplied power cord, one used a two-prong, right-angle plug adapter (with no cord), such that the charger would hang vertically from the wall outlet, would the plates and batteries stay attached to the unit?In other words, do the plates attach securely enough to the unit, and do the batteries attach securely enough to the plates, that both plates and batteries stay attached when the unit is held vertically?

A: They do stay attached pretty securely, but I really don't recommend hanging this charger vertically. With time the batteries might fall out of the device.

Q: 3. How does this charger prevent overheating with two terminals / pins? The "T" terminal which measures thermal data from the battery is clearly missing from this charger. Seems like misleading marketing.

A: There have been no reported issues of overheating on this charger.

Q: 4. Is there a plate for the Watson charger that supports the Olympus BLS-50 battery?

A: You can use this plate for the Olympus BLS-50 battery: https://bhpho.to/3pKR9C4

Q: 5. Is this compatible with olympus pen epl7?

A: Apologies. Do not own the Pen so have no idea

Q: 6. Anyone know where to get a replacement DC car charging cable for this?

A: Unfortunately, we do not carry a replacement DC car charging cable for the Watson Duo charger. We recommend reaching out to the manufacturer/distributor, Gradus Group. Tel: (212) 594-2120 Email: info@gradusgroup.com

Q: 7. How do you change it so that they both charge on DC?

A: But as someone else said, this is only the charger and plates. The batteries are a separate purchase. Watson batteries are 7.4V, 1120mAh, 8.29Wh

Q: 8. What is the capacity of these batteries?

A: It's a battery charger, not the batteries themselves.

Q: 9. Can this charger be used for the latest Fuji batteries (NP-W126S) used in the X-T2?

A: Thank You all for your prompt answers - very much appreciated

Q: 10. Does this charger work with the Sony NP-F970 battery adapter?

A: The Watson Duo charger uses user-replaceable battery adapter plates from Watson. In order to charge Sony NP-F style batteries (NP-F550, 570, 750, 970, etc.), you'll need at least one of these: https://bhpho.to/3DOneR8

[2] This charger does exactly what it says it will do. It is better than the OEM charger in that it gives you a very helpful display and it seems to charge the batteries faster. The downside is that it is BIG. Not heavy, but really bulky. If you have the room to travel with it, it is a good way to keep your Fuji batteries charged, and it has a USB charger port as well, so you could potentially leave your USB charger behind.

[1.275 lb] I received it a few days ago and have recharged a couple of Fujifilm and Nikon batteries. Very satisfied so far. Charge level indicator is an excellent feature, eliminates the guessing of how far along the charging process the batteries are.

[2] With the need of several batteries for Fujifilm camera, I was looking for a duo battery charger. Very happy with this one (compared to the other terrible @ one I have). Good quality build, nice screen. It seems to charge faster than the original charger, even with 2 batteries charging (not measured). I got plates for Nikon EN-EL15 that fits very well and does the job. Maybe a little expensive, but well worth it !

[2] Absolutely a terrific product. Charges my batteries faster than the charger the manufacturer provided. It can handle multiple types of batteries. This is great since now if I travel with two cameras it can handle both batteries at one time.

[2] Works well. I use for 2 sizes of Fuji batteries and for Nikon. I like that you can see the level of charge in the batteries. It actually fixed my Fuji batteries that seemed to be draining quickly. I no longer use the Fuji chargers that came with my cameras. So far, faster and more reliable than the originals.

[1.275 lb] Love the Charger, the display information, the ability to replace plates to charge different batteries at the same time and the speed, in my tests it charges faster than the supplied charger, only negative it's a little Pricey.

[Independent] Using it to charge NP-W126s batteries. Love the readout showing percentage of charge. Love the flexibility to plug it into my car's aux power so I can charge on the move.
