The Magewell Pro Capture Dual HDMI Card - 2 Channelfrom Magewell Pro Capture Dual HDMI Card - 2 Channelis a low-profile PCIe 2.0 card that allows for capturing two channels of HDMI input to your computer. The card supports multiple color sampling modes, 10-bit video processing, up to eight audio channels per input at 48 kHz, and output resolutions up to 2048 x 2160 with frame rates up to 144 fps. The card is also capable of numerous video processing features including cropping, scaling, deinterlacing, aspect ratio conversion, color format conversion, video frame rate conversion, and video OSD composition.

The Pro Capture HDMI card supports multiple cards per system and multiple capture streams with independently adjustable parameters per stream. Additional features include low latency mode, high-speed memory, continuous 24-hour operation, time stamp, and LED status indicators. The card supports the included Capture Express software on Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems, and multiple APIs for Windows and Linux. It also provides Windows SDKs for easy integration.

A: I have successfully used the Rode Rodelink wired lavalier mic (part of the Rode Filmmaker kit) connected to the mic in jack (with Zoom). In Windows it presents itself as an additional audio source. The video stream from the Magewell HDMI input will also present as an audio source if the HDMI input has audio.

A: No the specifications only discuss the output it does not appear to have an HDMI output

[HDMI: 8-Channel] Excellent product, I bought it in February 2017, and so far it works without problems. My company makes transmissions in social media, and I already have several hundred hours worked with this card, without any problem. 5

[5 to 90%] Pretty satisfied thus far, would definitely recommend as opposed to the decklink duos. Status lights on the rear are a nice touch as well, helps to immediately determine whether or not the system is receiving a signal without having to check anything else. 5

[0.42 lb] I have one installed in a Sonnet Echo hooked to an M1 Mini. Works great and handles various video input formats better than a Decklink card. Looking to also add a SDI version and dump the Decklink all together. If running Mac OS older than Ventura do not use the latest drivers or you will have issues. 5

[HDMI: 8-Channel] We use this card in 40+ windows 10 pro boxes. They are very stable. For backups, they run 12 hours X 5 days per week. The software [Panopto and OBS Studio] seems to run Great. The only complaint is somewhere in the mix, they sometimes lose Audio for no apparent reason. Rebooting usually fixes it. 5

[PCIe 2.0 x4] This is a popular card for having a good line TBC for interlaced video. This is what you want for capturing old home movies, whereas more expensive cards from BlackMagic that offer analog video/s-video have issues. So it is actually a really good deal for what it offers. I might have to order a second card as a back-up. 5

[0.42 lb] It's a solid capture card. Make sure to read the instructions on driver installation though. I'm ashamed to admit that I didn't extract the zip file they provided and that gave me great problems but the moment I extracted it the installation was a success! 5
