Confusingly, the bhphoto website describes the watson FZ100 charger (duo charger with fz100 plates) as FW50, but when I ordered the FZ100 charger, it came w the FZ100 plates, like I wanted.

This charger is an absolute MUST BUY for me, especially when getting a new camera body. The ability to charge 2 batteries at once with a nice digital display showing charge status is AMAZING.


I bring this (1 for each camera) with on EVERY shoot.

[Lithium-Ion] The Sony NP-FZ100 battery is pretty famous for long life, but a spare battery is essential for me - especially when I am traveling and want to shoot to my heart's content. The Duo has an LCD/Percentage Charge Read-Out, charges quickly (2-3 hours), and charges two batteries simultaneously. When we do take our twice-postponed trip to Italy, at the end of each day I can mount two batteries, attach a European voltage converter, and plug the duo in. I will awake ready to take my a7iii out for 1300 photos. The unit is a bit heavy (and weight is a legit concern, as we will be carrying on for our flights), but the weight is one indication of a solid build. Quality, performance, and dependability are my criteria for gear, and that makes the Watson my choice.

[Sony L-Series] I bought this to charge batteries for my Sony a7c while overseas. I used both an original Sony battery and a Watson battery. It charged both conveniently, and it's great that it shows the status of your battery even when it's not plugged in.

[Sony L-Series] Great deal. Swappable plates that aren't a ton of money - and they have most every battery plate for this system. My 3rd unit. Still have the other two. As we've grown the number of items that require batteries we just add more of these. Fantastic product.

[Sony L-Series] Works just as it should. Was in need of a charger that could charge two batteries at a time to help improve my workflow when shooting all day and this was exactly what I needed. It comes with a wall plug as well as a car plug which could come in extremely handy. Display is solid but can be a little difficult to read at certain angles and lighting. Very happy with the purchase and would certainly recommend.
