The VocoPro SilentPA-Portable is a wireless audio system with a bodyback transmitter and lavalier microphone along with a single bodypack receiver equipped with two 3.5mm headphone jacks. The system allows up to 16 transmitters to broadcast, each on a unique frequency, to an unlimited number of receivers, at a range of up to 150'. Listeners with receivers can then plug in headphones and tune into the program they wish to hear. The system is well suited to a wide variety of applications including guided tours and educational situations, houses of worship broadcasting in different languages, multiple presenters or performers working simultaneously in the same venue, and more.

The transmitter features a 3.5mm stereo line input and a mini-XLR mic input for the included lavalier mic, allowing you broadcast both music and vocals simultaneously. The level control is for the sum of the two inputs; to change the blend, you'll have to lower the music input at the source.

The bodypack receiver features a belt clip and two 3.5mm stereo output jacks, allowing the listener to monitor the program and even record to a separate device at the same time. Both the transmitter and receiver are powered by two AA batteries for approximately 4 hours, while their USB ports let you simultaneously use and charge rechargeable batteries (not included) installed in the units: just connect USB cables to power adapters or power banks (USB cables, adapters, and banks available separately).

Q: 1. Does this unit connect to my TV and play the words on the screen to sing along karaoke style?

A: The Voco Pro HERO-REC 5 has multiple video outputs for connection to a TV or video monitor. The unit supports DVD or CD+G as well as most other popular video formats via the internal player, SD card, or USB slot.

Q: 2. I need a single transmitter that can xmit two individual channels to L & R stereo spkrs. I do NOT want a mono signal going to each spkr. These are Dolby ATMOS HT effects sprks and require discrete signals. So, believe it requires dual wireless xmit freqs? Not exactly sure what the technical solution looks like, will the Wi Digital WI-AMP50X8 fulfill this rqmt?

A: The SDR-4000 is a dual recorder which is able to operate as 2 individual units. Each side having its own set of input and output jacks. Using the front panel selector, output monitoring can be selected as well, allowing you to listen to a mix of both sides as well as only left or right side units.

Q: 5. One transmitter to 50 receivers simultaneously according to the specs.With multiple speakers (maybe 8-16) spread out across a fair distance will result in latency issues. Is there a way to tweak individual latency/delay to each speaker/receiver?

A: The Wi Digital X8 does not offer delay compensation. If the application demands it, a delay unit should be connected to the receiver(s) before being inputted to the speaker.

[1.3 lb] The AudioStream Pro SL wireless system is a great system. It works exactly as described. I plug the transmitter into a stereo output on my audio mixing board and the receiver into the stereo audio input on my camcorder; I am able to record the received stereo audio on the SD card in my camera as the embedded audio track with the video exactly as it comes from the mixing board. [150' / 45.7 m] This unit has excellent audio quality at any price, at this price point, it's a steal. I play the drums in a small group that uses sound tracks and I was looking for a wireless iem system that would help me hear the music more clearly. Our floor monitor wasn't cutting it. This unit did the trick. I can now hear the detail I was missing and react in real time. My timing has improved and the singers like it because they can hear themselves and don't have to strain their voices to sing in tune. I believe it's the digital transmission that gives this unit it's excellent clarity. I haven't seen any other budget iem system that claims to be digital. The receiver pack is metal and is rechargable (charger included). The included iem's are ok but I'm using some CCA C10's. Highly recommended. 5

[150' / 45.7 m] I know of no other readily available transmitter/receiver pair that is this compact and can be used to do so many things. I use it for just about everything EXCEPT recording professionally (mic'ing presenters, VoIP, recording amateur videos, etc.) I love how each they come from the factor already paired. I wish it could do multiple transmitters all sent to single receiver with signal blended/mixed. I also wish I could get it for less expensive without all the included accessories but it really is a bargain for what all you get. 5
