A: From our testing with RRS and Kirk L-brackets and plates, thus far there hasn't been a brand of ballhead that has severely restricted their use. Based on the arca-swiss design that 3LT employs, we foresee no issues with your plates and the 3LT AirHed VU ballhead/clamp.

A: The Canon EW-52 Lens Hood can be used with 52mm uv filter at the same time on the Canon RF 35mm f/1.8 Macro IS STM Lens. And is made for that and will not vignette. Make sure the fiter is put on first and then the hood.

[5.75 x 3 x 0.2"] I use it on my nifty fifty and my ef-s 24mm. I put a 67mm ND fader on it. You can really touch the quality. It's not a cheap metal ring. It has texture. So, it is easier to put screw in and out. Note that the smallish focus ring of the 50mm 1.8 II is hard to handle with the ring on. Autofocus will be your only solution for certain situations. That problem will not occur for other lenses (or the newest 50mm 1.8) where the focus ring is not on the very end of the lens. 5

[52 mm to 67 mm] I've got a couple of small prime lenses that are great for shooting video. So, with a couple of inexpensive step-up rings, I can use my 67mm polarizer and variable neutral density filters to shoot wide open in sunshine. 5
