[0.945 lb] Had replaced my projector lamp with a lamp from a different company. It only lasted 7 months and maybe 1000 hours. This one has been in for over a month with no issues. I love the fact that it has a 12 month warranty. That was the big selling point for me. Great shipping and communication about where my product was and what was going on.

[0.945 lb] Bought this for my BenQ HT1085st back in 2016, when the original lamp that came with the projector literally popped after only 1500 hours. 
Having never owned a projector before, I thought that was the norm and that Id be having to pay $250 every year for a new bulb.
Im glad that was not the case. 
This replacement bulb is now at 5,900+ hours, and although it hasnt shown any signs of slowing down, Im about to buy another bulb just to be ready.

[0.945 lb] You can never go wrong with ordering the exact OEM replacement. This is the exact Benq OEM Bulb Assembly for use with HT1075 & HT1085st Projectors. It went in properly and easily and worked right. I chose to purchase from B&H over Benq's website despite the same price of the product. B&H had free shipping, and B&H is on the east coast (NYC), as am I, Benqdirect's warehouse is in California. I tend to get things quicker from the east coast. I also felt comfortable buying from B&H.

[0.945 lb] There are a lot of knock-off bulbs available for 50-75% less, but they are not worth it. They're not as bright and they don't last as long. It may be hard to swallow the cost of an OEM bulb but it's worth it. Your projector will be like new.

I first purchased this replacement for my HT1085ST in 2016, for $250. The lamp that came with my Benq projector decided to explode (safely within it's housing) after a mere 1500 hours. At $250 a pop, and believing that one year would be the par for the course, I was beginning to 2nd guess going projector instead of TV.
This bulb has lasted for 4 years and currently has 10,900+ hours. I'm certain it's not as bright as it used to be but it's still has been running great.
Last night was the first time, with an all white screen, I could begin to notice a slight flicker. I wasn't even mad. 11,000 hours, 4 years, yeah, let's' replace you buddy. You did good. Real good.


The price is a decent bit cheaper now too. Looking forward to putting the new lamp in, so long as FedEx can get it here. I live on a main road, but for some reason, Fedex likes delivering my packages to the apartment complex 10 numbers away from me so I always get nervous when I have something arriving through fedex instead of UPS.
