The A-Box Audio Adapter from Wooden Camera enables you to connect a variety of standard 3-pin XLR audio gear to an ARRI ALEXA Mini or RED V-RAPTOR's single 5-pin LEMO audio input. This adapter features balanced XLR connectors and a 19mm rod to 3/8"-16 adapter mount. A separately available bushing can be used to mount the adapter on a 15mm rod.

A: They include a set of reduction rings (110, 104, 95, 87, or 80mm) and a Universal Cloth Donut.

A: The Swing Away configuration includes an attachment that allows the matte box to swing out from it's fixed position. The Base configuration is static and attaches to 15mm rods.

Q: 3. Does this matte box vignette for wide lenses that are 114mm in diameter?

A: It should not vignette. There are lenses as wide as 14mm on the supported list for the product.

Q: 4. Can the top flag be removed via quick release?

A: The Wooden Camera Zip Box Pro 4 x 5.65" Matte Box (Swing-Away) uses its own proprietary 15mm quick release rod attachment for the top flag.

[0.5 lb] As Arri does not market an audio input solution for the Alexa MINI, I have found this to be the best on the market. It was also recommended by a tech colleague from Panavision. 5

[0.5 lb] Great form. Great build on the trigger switch. Fits my hand perfectly, and probably any hand for that matter. I use the handle when I go handheld with my Phantom Miro, and the trigger works great. Had to buy the accessory cable with a bare end, and put my own connector on it, no problem. Got it wet the first time I used it, and it roughed the wood up a little, but had no issues with the trigger. I'm also hoping a little more dry use will smooth the wood right back out. Overall great purchase, just wish I had bought it sooner. 5
