Since the 5 gallon size of Kodak Rapid Fixer got discontinued, this is the most economical rapid fixer I've found. All of them are basically Amonium Thiosulfate 60%. This works as well as any.

I will NEVER return to powdered fixers. This fixer is THE BEST. Strong, long lasting, super fast and leaves less of the powdery mess when dried.

Switched to the Aristo fixer after previously using other name brand product. Works just as well and much more economical for a ready mixed liquid fixer.

I've been using this Kodak fixer for many years to help fix my traditional FB printing papers. Just need to follow the directions, don't wear it out, use two baths and wash properly followed by hypo clearing agent, if you want archival quality. Kodak is still in the game!
