Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I have noticed that this, and other "after-market" chargers only have two pins while the Fuji charger has 4. How does this charger work properly when it is not making contact with all the plates on the battery?

A: The Watson Duo LCD Charger with Two NP-W126 Battery Plates charge fuji batteries properly with no issues.

Q: 2. Can this unit use the charger adapter plates for Nikon EN-EL3E and EN-EL14 batteries also?

A: Check manufacturers specs. I am guessing, yes, because it would be logical. Nice thing about charger is that it takes 3 sources of power input: 110 VAC, 12 VDC (Vehicle), and 5 V (USB). NOTE: Depending on source of power and, therefore, input jack used on charger, you would be well-advised to also purchase from B and H, a Male-to-Male, USB 3.0 cable. Also know that while the device is handy, versatile and great for travel, charging is slower than with original equipment. For this reason. Your best bet is to also invest in a second battery and to alternate while depleted battery is charging. With two batteries and the referenced special USB cable, you will be prepared wherever and whenever.Hope this helps. And again, Check with Watson and/or Nikon to reconfirmed my reply.

Q: 3. Is there a plate for the Watson charger that supports the Olympus BLS-50 battery?

A: You can use this plate for the Olympus BLS-50 battery: https://bhpho.to/3pKR9C4

Q: 4. Can complaints about the battery-holder-plates being insecure be solved with tape or gaffers tape applied to the side and bottom of the plates??? Is it feasible to secure them in some manner like this???

A: I have not been able to solve this problem by placing tape or cardboard underneath the plates.

Q: 5. Can I get this with a wall plug for Europe wall outlets?

A: it will operate on AC 100 to 240 volts 50/60 Hz.so get adaptor for country you going to.It comes with a car charger cable so thats an option too.12 volts to 24 volts 2amp max I am quit happy with this product.

Q: 6. Will this charger work for the EN-EL15b battery?

A: Yes it will

Q: 7. if I am in a remote location with an external power source, can the usb be used to connect to the power source to charge the battery?

A: No - the available power sources to charge batteries on the Watson charger are mains power or cigarette lighter - the USB on the device is for output only to change tablet/mobile phone.

Q: 8. Can this be used with en-el15a batteries?

A: Can be used with any port plate call b.h see if they have the shoe for el15a batteriesCharger works wonderful

Q: 9. Can you power the charger via usb? Or just charge from the unit via usb?

A: The USB port only provides power to other devices, it cannot be used to power the charging unit.

Q: 10. Can this charger be used for the latest Fuji batteries (NP-W126S) used in the X-T2?

A: Thank You all for your prompt answers - very much appreciated

[1.275 lb] Because I needed to charge Nikon EN-EL 15b batteries for a Nikon D780, I purchased the Watson Duo DX-3410 NOT the Watson D-3410. The Watson packaging for the DX-3410 specifically identifies the Nikon EN-EL 15 battery; the Nikon EN-EL 15a battery; and the Nikon EN-EL 15b battery as compatible. Thus far, the charger has done the trick and powered-up my EN-EL15b batteries - no problem. Based on my experience, I would purchase again.

[LCD Display] I purchased this unit to allow me to charge 2 batteries at one time. It works perfectly. The easy-to-read screen allows you to see the battery percentage of each battery. I have not had the opportunity to use the car power supply (included), but am excited to have this option for when I am traveling. I'd definitely recommend this product to anyone needing to charge multiple batteries at once.

[1.275 lb] Simply plug up the batteries, plug up the charger and this unit takes care of the rest. Great buy.

[2] Great product, could not be happier!! This charger is cheaper for what it does compared to the original offered by Nikon. It not only charges your batteries in about the same or less time than the Nikon charger and provides you with a visual status of your batteries.

[2] There's a lot to like about this charger: you can test battery strength (without even plugging it in to any kind of power), you can power by AC wall plug, or even by (provided) DC car-lighter plug so you can recharge batteries inside your car. I love the fact that I can change plates and recharge different batteries entirely (I just got the two independent plates to be for Nikon EL15's). You can even power a USB device at the same time, in case your digital camera or camcorder needs its batteries topped-up. There's overcharge protection that turns the device off automatically (to avoid harming batteries), as well as overheat protection. It even detects defective or shorted batteries and protects the charger. LCD screen is easy to read... charging time (right now) is around an hour, but it can take longer for older batteries. This thing weighs about 7.5oz (218g) and sits quietly in the corner doing its thing. :-)

[LCD Display] I have two of these, one for the studio and one for my travel kit. In my experience, and my first one is years old, these have worked great, never an issue with them and the % readout is especially useful as well as the option of charging different types of batteries. Even if youre a Nikon shooter, being able to charge two at once had been productive. I have also used them with an OLY, Sony and Lumix charge plates and never an issue.

[LCD Display] This dual charger is great. Well built, charges batteries quickly, and gives a constant readout of the charging progress. I also love the easy to read digital display. You can also swap out the removable plates allowing different types of batteries to be charged. I couldn't want anything more. Five stars.
