Q: 5. Will this hood loupe work for the Canon 1dx mark iii? Although the 1dx mark iii has a 3.15" screen, I'm wondering if there might be an issue with the right side edge of the hood loupe hitting the 1dx main dial, and therefore, the hood loupe would not properly fit/align over the LCD screen.)

Q: 10. Will this fit my Nikon D7000 and my D750?

A: The loupe comes in 2 parts - the optics (expensive) and the hood part (cheap). The idea is that if the LCD size is different on a new camera or your second body, just change the hood part. Seeing Timothy's answer, just buy one or the other and go to the Hoodman site to get the second hood that you still need. The 3.2 on a 3 screen will block some of the buttons and likely let in light. A 3 on a 3.2 will not show the full screen.

[1.2] This screen is really well constructed. I totally recommend it... make sure your space is the right size!

[Front] I have in dedicated media room with total light control so it works really well. I wouldn’t recommend it for room that doesn’t have total light control. Assembly wasn’t too bad it took me about an hour to get it assembled.

[90 degrees] I was surprised at how easily it assembled and how tight and flat the surface is ( not a ripple in it, like my old Da-lite Perm Wall had ). The quality is excellent. And the images from my Epson 5040ub on the screen are brighter, sharper and clearer and the color is more accurate. A great purchase. I tip my hat to Elite and to B& H ( for their great service). Thank you both!

[Frame, Wall] The full video review will eventually be on KuhlToys.com, but for now suffice it to say if you want the real theater experience the right way to do it is to have the speakers behind the screen.

I do have a couple of simple suggestions about the build, so please read on.

We had two problems, both I think related.

The instructions are small, I know most men don't read them so I am sure they were trying to save paper, and I didn't read them all the way before I started.

There is a center support bar that needs a nut inserted into the slot before you finish the frame but the nut is isn't mentioned until after you finish applying the material.

I had to undo one end, pull the frame apart and insert the bolts. Then it took two people to stretch the frame the 1/16 extra to insert the support bar. This made the material wrinkle.

It took several attempts to get the wrinkles out.

My guess is to put the nuts in while building the frame, and install the center bar(s) before attaching the screen material.

This is a bright white screen that looks great in a dark room, you'll need a projector with deep blacks. A touch of grey might help with the blacks for cheaper projectors, but that screen is twice the price, and won't do 4k (yet).

The acoustics are very clean and we haven't seen any artifacts or blurring from the fabric using a Optoma 1080p projector (also purchased from B&H). We are waiting for someone to send us a 4k to review or prices to drop just a little more.

There is a black fabric backing so no need to paint the wall flat black like some other brands.

Hanging was a piece of cake, and we are considering adding the LED kit, just because the screen looks so cool.

Our setup is pretty simple THX video compliant and 5.1 with two seats in a screening room type setup.

Total Install Time about 1 hour, mostly for the redo part.

[CineGrey 3D] What a difference ,the picture is bright and detailed I did not think that it would have that much effect on the image...I went from a sound transparent screen to this and had to move the center channel but totally worth it!

[32 lb] This is a great screen for home theater. The picture quality is great and the quality of the material is great. It assembled very easily and looks nice on the wall. The thin bezel gives it a big tv look when not in use. This is a great product.

[1.2] I was very happy with the quality and finished product of the Aeon 120 inch Cinewhite screen. It wasn't the easiest to put the material on the frame, but once installed it looked great! B&H offered the best price, even better than Amazon. I highly recommend this screen!

[1.2] Great quality and look! It's a bit tricky to put together, but once it's up it's a gem

[Aeon] I upgraded my church to widescreen. Our old screens were Da-Lite snapons, and the frames were held on my clamps screwed into the wall.
These Elite screens were a touch tricky to assemble (the frame must be assembled, then the vinyl gets stretched across the frame and you use plastic clips to systematically secure it in place) but they are mounted to the wall with 4 (3 on top, 1 bottom) little metal plates.
Removal is as easy as unlatching it on the bottom, picking it up from the top via a ladder and setting it down.
Therefore, basically hassle free if you need to repaint or something. The whole structure is pretty light for 2 people.

As for the picture, they are fine. I can't really speak to the screen specs because I just needed something that works. I have zero complaints. The deep black velvet on the frame helps a lot with getting the projection aligned.
I would buy these again. The price is just superb.
