A: It should, I use mine for a cpc1100. It's a great battery back. I will not use an extension chord again. If u get serious into this hobby, u need to get a Tele Vue diagonal and televue eyepieces. Then you will get bigger scopes, and then your officially hooked. Good luck!

A: This battery pack should work with any Celestron that has a 12V input socket. (I can't speak for all of them, but the plug end of its cable fit my CPC perfectly.) The only other Celestron power pack I know of is the Power Tank, a hand carry item that usually sits on the ground under the tripod. This unit is much lighter weight and straps to a tripod leg, so it seems to be a lot more convenient.

[80 PLUS] I have an old AMD Phenom X4 system that currently exists to drive a Nikon LS-8000 scanner. The original, 10+ year old, PSU blew last week. I could replace this box with something very capable for the scanning job for $75-$100, so I did not want to spend a lot on a PSU. This Thermaltake 700W fit the bill - right price, 80+ certification (though only at the basic level), plenty of power and ample array of connectors. It's been over a decade since I installed a replacement PSU, but this was quick and easy. For my purposes it has worked out fine. 5

[120 W] You will need to zip tie the unused cables as they are not removable, but once you build the PC, you will forget they are there - no big deal. Not having the removable cables makes the cost lower which makes the price of this unit very good compared to others. Works like a champ, and makes very little noise. 5
