A: There is a 3/8 and 1/4 thread. Pretty standard. I would think you could put on just about any manufacturer's tripod plate.

YES just pick up the optional handlecan you attach a c100 top handle to the ultracage for DSLR? YES. you just need to get the cold shoe adapter. Are top handles supported on ultraCage DSLR the same way as other ultraCages? YES!hope that helps

A: Yes, the Blackmagic Cinema camera 2.5k will fit in this cage.

A: This cage is large enough to accommodate DSLR sized cameras. The A7S II will fit in it, however you may find this cage too big. You may want to look in to more form fitting options designed specifically for the Sony A7SII.

Q: 6. How much weight can this cage hold?

A: Filmcity does not provide a payload capacity for the cage, however, it is mostly made of Aluminum which means it is excessively strong. As a general rule, weight capacity only comes into play when dealing with camera set ups that are 25+ pounds and this cage is not physically large enough to hold the cameras/gear that are in that weight class.
