Q: 1. will the thumbwheel mount onto the Movi Pro ring?

Q: 2. How can you change the focus throw?? I get how to change Gain/smoothness but want to adjust the throw. At the moment, if you turn the Remote only a few millimetres it will focus the lens quite extremely. I hope that makes sense!?

A: Hi Dane - the microRemote has 270 degrees of throw which should be more than enough for almost any lens (with the exception of macro lenses that have )you can manually calibrate to a portion of the lens' throw so you can get even more granularity for shots that have limited range. If you are looking for additional support and you own a microRemote please contact our support group at support@redrockmicro.com - they can offer more assistance there. Thanks

Q: 3. Does Pelican 1450 will be big enough to fit the Halo Solo Complete bundle with couple extra Canon LP-E6 batteries and can i fit in this case a handheld micro remote controller? Or i will need a bigger case like Pelican 1520?Or even that case will not be enough to fit all stuff i mentioned above?

A: Hi Iaroslav - please drop us a line at sales@redrockmicro.com with this question. We need to do some checking on a pelican equivalent to make a recommendation, which we're happy to do.

Q: 4. I want to use this on the Dji Ronin M, What else do I need to buy to make this work? Just a Ptap Cable to power it from the Ronin M? I basically want to be able to be a single operator with the thumb controller. Where Can I find out what all I need to make this work. I live in South America and do not want to have to order some other part after the fact. Thanks for any information as I am looking for a solution for one man operation with a ronin m, a7sII an Loxia lens. I know I need the gear straps for the lens, but is there anything else I need? Extra plates, arms or anything for the ronin to get this set up and work, Plan on using a smallhd502 on the ronin handles. Thanks for any information.

A: Hi EricThere's a lot of ground to cover there. what I recommend is picking up the remote fingerwheel bundle without cables, and get the DJI specific cable pack:a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1140914-REG/redrock_micro_8_114_0011_microremote_handheld_fingerwheel_bndle.html target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1140914-REG/redrock_micro_8_114_0011_microremote_handheld_fingerwheel_bndle.html/aa href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1111304-REG/redrock_micro_8_100_0007_dji_ronin_microremote.html target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1111304-REG/redrock_micro_8_100_0007_dji_ronin_microremote.html/afor mounting the motor, you'll want the rhino mount, probably 4 a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1176779-REG/redrock_micro_2_167_0002_rhino_mount_shoe_mount_clamp.html target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1176779-REG/redrock_micro_2_167_0002_rhino_mount_shoe_mount_clamp.html/afor lens gears, you might be best to go with a kit that covers all possible lens sizes (though loxia are typically A or B sized lens gears)a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/748784-REG/Redrock_Micro_8_003_0107_microLensGears_Kit_4.html target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/748784-REG/Redrock_Micro_8_003_0107_microLensGears_Kit_4.html/aFor mounting the 502 monitor, you can look at the billie ball mount as a low profile ball mount that attaches to the DJI accessory platea href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/970766-REG/redrock_micro_2_138_0001_billie_ball_mount.html target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/970766-REG/redrock_micro_2_138_0001_billie_ball_mount.html/ahope that helps

Q: 5. Does this kit come with the needed cables? Also if I want to use this with a Movi Pro and the Freefly remote is there anything else I would need beyond this kit?

A: Depends on the Movi. We use this with our Movi M5 and Movi controller, less stuff needed for the new Movi Pro. You will probably need to order a receiver for your remote fro Freefly if it is an older Movi. They work very well but this is the bottom of the barrel for wireless focus so don't expect to film with this and sound. We produce only stock footage without audio. If I had to be recording audio this motor is pretty noisy.

Q: 6. Can this rig work with the Ronin M?

A: Yes the Redrock Micro microRemote Handheld is so compact it is designed to work on stabilizers as well as conventional set-up's.

Q: 7. I see that the basestation is wireless ready , does that mean it will connect and work with the handheld wireless remote?

A: Hi Anthony - yes that is correct. just add this hand unit (you can purchase it later) and its ready for wireless:a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1014379-REG/redrock_micro_3_114_0001_microremote_handheld_wireless_focus.html target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1014379-REG/redrock_micro_3_114_0001_microremote_handheld_wireless_focus.html/aplease note the picture of the hand unit is outdated - the new version is slimmer and smaller

Q: 8. Do I need anything else to attach this to a tripod QR plate?

A: Hi Tony - thanks for asking. I hope I understand your question correctly: The RRS QR plate attaches directly to the top of this adapter, we supply the screws. You can attach a tripod plate beneath this with the 1/4 and 3/8 holes on the bottom. so no, you don't require anything else. If we misunderstood your question or didn't answer it to your satisfaction, drop us a line at sales@redrockmicro.com and we'll help clarify.

Q: 9. When I assemble a rail systemWhich parts do you clamp a rail with?

A: Hi Hidetake, the retroFlex Cage is designed for the retroFlex handheld rig, that looks like this:a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1051159-REG/redrock_micro_8_144_0001_retroflex_rig_bundle_for.html target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1051159-REG/redrock_micro_8_144_0001_retroflex_rig_bundle_for.html/a Another option if you want to attach a rail for a focus motor or other camera-top rail-mounted accessory is a rhino mount on the top shoe clamp, which is super solid.a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1176779-REG/redrock_micro_2_167_0002_rhino_mount_shoe_mount_clamp.html target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1176779-REG/redrock_micro_2_167_0002_rhino_mount_shoe_mount_clamp.html/a hope that helps

Q: 10. How can i mount this cage on tri pod? The two 1/4 holes isn't center of lens gravity so it may cause problem when panning or moving the head it slef. Is there any part that can merge the two holes into one?

A: It's off center a bit, but I haven't had any problems with it using a standard tripod piece screwed into one hole on the bottom. I use a fairly heavy duty Manfrotto and there's no tipping issues or anything and I'm using a nice sized EFV as well. I actually really love this cage and recommend it.

[0.5 lb] Perfect size for holding an external monitor on my handheld Redrock Micro rig. I use this in conjunction with the microLink4 riser.

[Camera cage] Used with my GH4. The camera fit perfectly. I used a rented prime Veydra 25mm lens. That lens has built in gears witch comes in handy when using a focus motor. The wheel control is nice and smooth. For me it's the only way to shoot hand held from now on.

[15mm rail clamp] I love this 8 inch handle. It helps with adding a monitor so it's directly in line of sight. Perfect!

[0.5 lb] I had been using steel rods on my Red Rock rig but after switching to these carbon fiber rods, there's no going back. Not as pretty, but definitely worth it.

[15mm rail clamp] As recommended, I acquired the RRS B2-LR-II. If you are doing photo with video inclination this setup is the only one available at this time to have arca swiss accessories mounted to 15mm rods. -pros- High quality, perfect fit. (RRS makes the best and most precise accesories, other brands do not lock in the same especially for lever releases that could just slide off due to microscopic differences in fit vs knob releases that tighten) Connects to the quick release via two supplied phillips screws. Fits both ways to adjust forward or side to side arca swiss plates (connecting via base of camera that goes side to side or via lens foot that goes forward and back) -cons- Price, does not include the RRS B2-LR-II Does not come with the standard RRS Allen key screws, instead you must Carry another tool, the phillips screw driver if you wish to rotate the B2-LR-II Overall, it's made by Redrock Micro to fit RRS. You pay for the quality. With it's various threads this item can fit a tripod attached to the base with another quick release clamp of your choosing with its two different thread sizes which in turn allows some creativity to build up your rig. Five stars because it is what it is and does what it's meant for.

[0.5 lb] This is a very sturdy, solid and very well built grip rod to attach all sort of accessories like hand grips, monitors (with Redrock Micro Mounts ), shoulder brace etc. It grips well on standard 15mm rods with easy tightening knob. The primary rod feel very solid and the products finishing is really good with a very good resistance to minor scratches etc while attaching more stuff onto it. A Very precisely crafted grip rod :-)

[0.5 lb] I bought this because I very much enjoy the arca-swiss type quick release system. Prior to using this I had used a normal clamp and mounted a quick release clamp on top of that. The problem with that was that sometimes the quick release clamp would shift slightly, which was problematic most notably in regards to my follow focus. With this everything stays straight and secure which is great. I bought a knob style really right stuff clamp with dual mount instead of the one the lever style they mentioned, because I had been using non RRS plates, and it works great!

[Camera cage] I own 2 of this item, one for my shoulder rig and one for my Sachtler tripod, it is so easy to quickly change from one rig to the other on location when shooting. The Redrock baseplate with the Real Right Stuff are a nice couple to quickly and reliably tight the camera to your rig. I own also some other Redrock baseplates with cage but this is the one I prefer for outdoor shooting.
