Q: 9. Since the frame leaves a small amount of space around the actual displayed image, would this also work with Atomos Shinobi since it has a 5.2 inch screen?

A: We have not tested this and logic points to the notion that it should work, however, and since the Shinobi in question has been discontinued and we cannot physically verify this, we would not recommend the pairing.

A: No, the SmallHD Monitor Cage with Four-Sided Sun Hood for 502 Bright Monitor will only support the SmallHD 502 Bright display.

[0.065 lb] Must-have for protecting the screen. I shot in a metal stamping facility where there was metal particles in the air, and touched my screen and it left a metal scratch - luckily in the acrylic, not the screen, thanks to this protector. 5

[6.95 x 5 x 0.5"] The stock screen that comes with the monitor is like a mirror. This one's not perfect but is miles better at reducing glare. As someone who pulls with the screen on, this is a necessity. It should be the standard option in my opinion. 5

[0.065 lb] Twice I've had ACs drop or smash my SmallHD monitor, both times it looked like the screen was completely cracked and both times it turned out only the screen protector cracked and my monitor was fine. Did the screen protector save my monitor? Possibly! Per the other reviews, I have had no issues attaching this to my monitor (one time I didn't apply it quite straight and I had to push out the air bubbles but once I did that no further problems). I also don't feel that the protector limits my ability to tell critical focus when I zoom in on my monitor. 5
