The 16x22" Angler Silverbox Quartz Softbox 16x22is a highly versatile light-shaping tool designed for use with strobes, LEDs, fluorescent lights and hot lights up to 300W.

This small softbox allows photographers to place it where larger softboxes can't go. It's ideal for tabletop and small product work especially with reflective objects that demand a rectilinear reflection. This size and weight softbox is also a good choice for overhead mounting on a boom for use as a hair light or background light.

The Silverbox has a textured silver interior for maximum output and heat resistance. It also has an additional control; it accepts an optional fabric grid which mounts to the recessed lip of the softbox with touch-fasteners. The grid gives more directional control of the light source by narrowing the beam so the light goes only where you want it to. While designed to be paired with the Angler Shadow Focus Spot, the Silverbox will fit other brands with separate purchase of a speedring. Every Silverbox comes with a carrying case.

A: You could clip on diffusion gel such as the sheets of Rosco E-Colour #251 1/4 White Diffusion (21 x 24" Sheet) BH #ROE251S that we sell. You could stack them if you find you want more diffusion or get the 1/2 white diffusion.

A: yes, you take off the compact flash adapter, and you can't use the bare bulb on the AD200.

Q: 4. Can I fit this on a Gemini 1x1?

A: This is not compatible with the Litepanels Gemini 1 x 1.

A: The diffusion is about one stop. There are no alternate densities available.

A: No, the Angler Collapsible Softbox for 1x1' LED Lights is meant for full size LED panels and will not fit on the Ikan MB8 half panel. You should instead use the Ikan Presto Softbox for Half x 1 LED Lights. (B&H # IKPSB5)

[Silver] Chimera makes a great product! They also have great service and repairs! This is my fourth Medium Quartz soft box! Perhaps my twelfth chimera box. Be careful when you order, defiantly get the Plus series because you can change the front material from the full Muslin to 1/2 grid to 1/4 grid. My normal combo is the 1/2 and 1/4 grid together! This combo give me a large soft source but it still has some spark! Additionally, I reccomend the 40degre or the 30 degree egg crates! Get one and enjoy! 5

[Yes] I am very impressed with this softbox. The build quality is fantastic. I have quite a few softboxes, and this one stands out by its quality. The material is very sturdy and strong. I tend to leave my softboxes built, so this leaves them vulnerable to being damaged or ripped. With the material this one is made of; I have no worries of that happening. This material seems very durable. The velcro that is used throughout is also very strong and should last forever. The rods are also sturdy but bend easy enough for fast set-up. I have battled many softboxes in my time, but this set-up was a piece of cake in comparison. I also love that it is only 4 rods needed for assembly. That adds to the speed of the set-up, if you need to do so in the field. I got the Angler 7464-BOWV2 Bowens mount speed ring to go with this softbox and it works great. I assembled it very quickly. You'll notice from the pictures that there is very little light leak. But if you feel the need to vent the light, it has built in heat-vents to let some of the heat out for bigger lights. I also like the size of this softbox because it is big enough to do a good job, but not so huge that it is a pain to deal with on the set or in storage. Again, I have other softboxes and I am impressed with this one. It is very well constructed. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review] 5

[Silver] I put this on the front of my Barger 6 light. This is the industry standard for the film industry. The light is perfect for an interview. I've used them on major tv shows. What an awesome soft box! 5
