[Vertical] I wish I would've bought these sooner! Just installed them in my Voiceover Studio control room, and they provide instant feedback about my commercial, narration, and promo mixes when placing my voice over the production music beds. Since my work needs to "play well" on radio, television, and the internet, these Auratone 5C Super Sound Cubes tell me "exactly" what I need to hear. Coupling them with a used "Crown D-45" lab-grade power amp and 12 ga Monster speaker cable, the attack is tight and accurate. �I use them to check my mixes against my EQ-Corrected Tannoy PBM6.5s and between the two pairs of monitors, I am very confident that my work will play accurately on all sorts of playback speakers. [80 Hz to 15 kHz] Excellent audio quality & bang for your buck. Able to route signals to the DAW from external devices, route mixes to other hardware recorders, and transcribe vinyl. They don't take near as much space as the expensive units and give you mono mute control you can't go wrong. Plus delivered in 2 days - so fast!

[8 Ohms] I just installed this in the studio and it works great!� It's extremely quiet and easy to operate.� The patching flexibility makes it the perfect addition to any DAW.

[Vertical] Amazing Device! Saves so much time when monitoring mixes on two separate monitors for reference. That little "Mono" button is also amazing as you can hear the mix in mono. Idk how I did it without the Big Knob for so long. Now that I own this, I'm spoiled!

[Single Monitor] Fantastic. Output is a pair of Adam Audio T5Vs, and inputs are a balanced DAC and a 3.5 mm connected to my PC monitor.
I use this to switch between PC audio and my PS5 (connected to the PC monitor via HDMI). Suited my specific application very well.
I appreciate the smoothness of the volume knob, though it is definitely a bit light. The unit itself is robust, it's heavy doesn't move with all the 1/4 jacks on the rear, feels well made. Buttons have a nice feel, takes a decent amount of weight to actuate, and very audible, so it's easy to tell if one has been accidently pressed.
Also, I haven't personally been affected by channel imbalance at lower volumes using this controller.

[Single Monitor] If you need a passive near field studio monitor a little like Yamaha NS10s but with a nicer sound these are your babies! They have low distortion and a really nice high end and not harsh but also retain a very workable low end which makes mixing a breeze. I use them everyday as a mixer in Los Angeles.

[5.7 lb] I never paid attention to a monitor controller until I added a new set of monitors and kept my old ones so I could A/B them during mixes. The Big Knob has exceeded my expectations on every level.


My previous experiences with Mackie have been less than impressive, but I can't detect any noise, hiss, or degradation in sound while using it. The buttons work as promised, and the master volume knob is silky smooth allowing me to dial in the volume perfectly.


I had an issue before I bought this where my old monitors would randomly issue a loud pop when on but not in use. Since adding the Big Knob that has gone away. It's hard to believe I had this much improvement for under $70.

[80 Hz to 15 kHz] Happy with my purchase from B&H. The speakers provide a good reference alternative for smaller sized speakers with limited frequency range.
