[0.05 lb] These receivers work well for hearing in the ear or plugging into a car radio port to transmit the sound of a service. They are extremely reliable and do a great job. The range is extremely far for receiving a signal.

[0.05 lb] We bought this system as an inexpensive way to allow clients to hear production audio on a shoot last week. It arrived the day after we ordered it. I love that the entire system comes in its own case! In addition, the individual pieces were packed in their own plastic bags that were closed with a piece of tape folded back on the end to allow easy opening without ripping the bag. I know this sounds like a small thing, but when you have to open a lot of little bags, it's a very nice touch.

Tested the system and was able to get even greater range than advertised. When the day of the shoot came, it performed flawlessly, no hiccups or dropouts, and the included batteries lasted all day.

The audio quality in these is not the greatest. At this price point, one wouldn't expect it to be. When listening with the included dual mono earbuds, it sounds a little phasey, like polarity is flipped somewhere. It's only transmitting a single channel, so if you switch to a pair of stereo headphones, audio will only come out of one side, and that sounds better to my ears than what we get in the dual mono buds. Once again at this price, we're in pretty good shape. We're not going for audiophile quality, just the ability to hear what's being said.

This was a good purchase for our one-time use in this shoot, and I can see it working nicely in a permanent installation where hard-of-hearing patrons need a little extra volume to overcome room echo, etc.

And I'm super impressed with the attention to detail the manufacturer has given to the packaging. The sign of a good company!

[0.05 lb] Headset is light weight, comfortable to wear and gives great volume for the hard of hearing. Works well for those with 2 hearing aids - take them out and use the headset to cover both ears.

[0.05 lb] This system is by far the best system for venues looking for an economical choice to offer hospitality to those with hearing loss. One of my parishioners, who has not really heard what has been going on in worship for years, said to me after his first time using this, You can't imagine the difference. I want to let potential buyers know that, for best results, you may need a separate amplifier to boost the level of audio going into the transmitter. It all depends on your setup. If you hook this up, and the sound is still not loud enough at full volume, insert an amplifier of some sort (am/fm stereo ) into the audio chain between your sound system and the transmitter input. I am using an old Realistic stereo. I am also using an audio compressor, between the amp and the transmitter, but that isn't necessary. I am using it primarily for its gate function, that eliminates some noise when no one is speaking. The compressor keeps the audio volume level.

[0.05 lb] These mono earbuds eliminate the need for a mono-to-stereo adapter (and a right-angle adapter) when I listen to my mono radio scanner. The earbuds have an (almost) 90 degree plug (different from what is shown in the photo).

[0.05 lb] Our church has a great PA system. Yet some members. Had a complaint that they cannot hear the message. With that comment we purchased the assisted listening system. First Sunday impression was they could hear the service that’s all I wanted to hear a great report.

It comes with ear buds which are not the best for hearing assist for two reasons. cleanness and most of the users have hearing aids. the ALS700 Assistive Listening System is a mono device. It is hard to find mono head phones. I bought 6 of the ALSH700 Mono Personal Headset for the 6 receivers. Voice sound quality is good and so far they have been reliable. The price is very reasonable. So far every one in church that have used them likes them.
