A: Yes, we use it for our Sunday service. The only difficulty is that the sound is sometimes fuzzy and sometimes the older folk need assistance figuring out how to use them and it disrupts things a bit to have others help them in the middle of the service.

A: The transmitter is stereo. The plug is an 1/8 inch TRS plug. The transmitter does not have a lot of headroom and the stereo image is not very wide.

Q: 8. Will these fit on a Rode PodMic?

A: No, the HamiltonBuhl HygenX Sanitary Disposable Microphone Covers are designed to fit handheld microphones with a diameter of up to 3.5" (88.9mm) and the Rode PodMic has a diameter of 4.29" (109mm). Perhaps you could use the Auray HPC-45BK Disposable Over-Ear Headphone Covers - 50 Pairs, Black (B&H # AUHPC45BK) which fit over ear cushions with a diameter of up to 4.5" (114.3mm). We have not tested them with the PodMic to confirm compatibility, but I think they may do the job since the PodMic is an end-address microphone.

Q: 9. Hi, I thought only the transmitter (W900-BLTM) in the LCP/12/901BT package provides microphone input, and the transmitter (W900-Multi) in this package does not have microphone input. Is it correct?And how do the headphones get charged? Do they get charged at the same time? Many thanks!

A: The transmitter has microphone input.The headphone(s) can be charged six at one time with the cable and power provided. It comes with two set of cables and power, so all 12 can be changed at the same time.

Q: 10. What is the size of this microphone cover? The specs only list the size of the box, which isn't very useful.

A: The manufacturer does not specify the measurements, but these are intended to be used with most handheld microphones, like the Shure SM58, Sennheiser E835, and microphones of that design. These mics are all about 1.5" in diameter, some a little larger.

[0.175 lb] These receivers work well for hearing in the ear or plugging into a car radio port to transmit the sound of a service. They are extremely reliable and do a great job. The range is extremely far for receiving a signal. 5

[0.175 lb] We bought this system as an inexpensive way to allow clients to hear production audio on a shoot last week. It arrived the day after we ordered it. I love that the entire system comes in its own case! In addition, the individual pieces were packed in their own plastic bags that were closed with a piece of tape folded back on the end to allow easy opening without ripping the bag. I know this sounds like a small thing, but when you have to open a lot of little bags, it's a very nice touch. Tested the system and was able to get even greater range than advertised. When the day of the shoot came, it performed flawlessly, no hiccups or dropouts, and the included batteries lasted all day. The audio quality in these is not the greatest. At this price point, one wouldn't expect it to be. When listening with the included dual mono earbuds, it sounds a little phasey, like polarity is flipped somewhere. It's only transmitting a single channel, so if you switch to a pair of stereo headphones, audio will only come out of one side, and that sounds better to my ears than what we get in the dual mono buds. Once again at this price, we're in pretty good shape. We're not going for audiophile quality, just the ability to hear what's being said. This was a good purchase for our one-time use in this shoot, and I can see it working nicely in a permanent installation where hard-of-hearing patrons need a little extra volume to overcome room echo, etc. And I'm super impressed with the attention to detail the manufacturer has given to the packaging. The sign of a good company! 5

[0.175 lb] I bought the ALS700 Assistive Listening System for our church. It comes with ear buds which are not the best for hearing assist for two reasons. cleanness and most of the users have hearing aids. the ALS700 Assistive Listening System is a mono device. It is hard to find mono head phones. I bought 6 of the ALSH700 Mono Personal Headset for the 6 receivers. Voice sound quality is good and so far they have been reliable. The price is very reasonable. So far every one in church that have used them likes them. 5

[9 x 7.95 x 1"] Our church has a great PA system. Yet some members. Had a complaint that they cannot hear the message. With that comment we purchased the assisted listening system. First Sunday impression was they could hear the service that’s all I wanted to hear a great report. 5

[9 x 7.95 x 1"] Headset is light weight, comfortable to wear and gives great volume for the hard of hearing. Works well for those with 2 hearing aids - take them out and use the headset to cover both ears. 5
