A: Yes it is safe for storing batteries too.

A: The built-in XLR onnector is attached to a 6' Balanced Line Cable which would need a connector.

Q: 5. Is it just for gear or can it store archival boxes of prints to protect them from humidity if you live in NC or Florida?

A: You may store any type of material you wish to protect from humidity which is physically able to fit inside the Ruggard Electronic Dry Cabinet (120L). If the archival box of prints is sized appropriately to fit inside the Electronic Dry Cabinet, it would allow you to set the humidity between 35% to 60% to further protect your prints.

Q: 6. can I place it in a garage? I live in orlando florida.

A: Yes this cabinet can be placed in a garage.

Q: 7. I've read reviews that say there's no ground, which means there could be a problem with static electricity in the cabinet. Is there a solution for this?

A: While we have not received complaints from customers regarding issues with static electricity with these units, if you are looking for a cabinet for use with items sensitive to static electricity such as motherboards, computer chips and components, etc., I would recommend purchasing a cabinet designed for this specific usage. If you are using the cabinet to store camera equipment and accessories, there should not be an issue, but you may view a few of the other replies from posters who have listed common techniques often recommended as suitable for controlling issues with static.

Q: 8. Does every owner store their equipment with the batteries installed? I'm probably a bit paranoid about batteries & heat...

A: Although the EDC cabinets incorporate a temperature display, they do not generate any heat, they do not cool, they do not adjust or regulate temperature at all.

Q: 9. What is new with the 230L over the 235L?

A: I contacted Ruggard concerning your inquiry. They state that the main differences would be the new EDC-230L Dry Cabinet has moveable shelves while the shelves inside the EDC-235L are non-moveable. Other than the above, there are slight differences in the overall dimensions of the unit. The interior dimensions of the older EDC-235L was 31.8 x 13.4 x 31.1" the exterior dimensions were 31.8 x 14.6 x 34", and the unit weighed 76 lbs. Meanwhile, the interior dimensions of the new EDC-230L are 31.1 x 23.62 x 18.9", the exterior dimensions are 33.78 x 23.62 x 18.9", and the unit is lighter as it now weighs 60.6 lbs.

Q: 10. Hello, if we get this mic, do i need anything more to install it on a table?

A: I installed it in a podium. I had to drill a hole to install the insert for the mic and ran the cable underneath. The mic then plugs into the cable when you put it in the holder.

[2] With the help of Mr. Google, I looked at many laptop stands before ordering this one for me. It's as attractive, sturdy and functional as any of the others reviewed, and priced fairly. Unboxing and assembly was straightforward, fast and simple. Then I ordered another one for my envious friend. She decided to take it to her sister with severe arthritis and mobility issues. Sis was glad to replace her heavy cumbersome table with this stand because she can adjust it and easily roll it out of the way. I roll mine from room to room, out on the deck or screened porch or into a corner when it's not in use. The crescent shape of the top is both ergonomic and stylish. I highly recommend this classy laptop stand. And it's a good deal. 5
