Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is the door reversible, right hand or left hand open?

A: No, right hand open only.

Q: 2. I have a Fujifilm GFX50s II, GF32-64mm, GF100-200mm, GF45-100mm, GF110mm lens, + 2 smaller lenses. Do I need an 80L or 125L?

A: The 80L would fit the gear you listed. https://bhpho.to/2AuZJO1

Q: 3. Has anyone used this tissue to lay on top of a fine art paper, then rolled it? Would this tissue cause any scuffing of the fine art paper or image area when delicately rolled? Thanks!

A: When using the Archival Methods 16 x 20" Buffered Archival Tissue Papers, gently rolling the art work with the tissue paper on top will not cause any scuffing, as long as the "fine art paper" is dry.

Q: 4. Have had this unit for about a week. Very nicely built unit but the inside has a "plastic" smell - almost like a styrofoam cup smell. Has anyone else had this and does it go away ? I am concerned it is off gassing that might get on lenses.

A: The plastic smell in the Ruggard EDC-80L Electronic Dry Cabinet (80L, Black) BH #RUEDC80L is common and it goes away with time. You can keep the cabinet open for a couple of days and the smell would go away. The smell will not effect lenses.

Q: 5. In the humidity display, image of droplets are flashing. Is this normal ?

A: Yes it is normal

Q: 6. Can you stack these on top of one another? I want to buy another one, but I also dont want to sell the one that I currently have.

A: Yes, you can stack them, just make sure the top one is secure and won't slide off.

Q: 7. does the screen on the unit turn on/illuminate once you plug it in or is there an actual on/off power button? I plugged the unit into the outlet properly but the display did not illuminate so I'm thinking that I received a defective product.

A: Your Ruggard EDC-80L dry cabinet should work fully out of the box. There is no on/off switch and the unit should power up once it is plugged in. We would recommend contacting the manufacturer at info@gradusgroup.com for assistance in troubleshooting this issue.

Q: 8. Does this keep dust out?

A: Yes it does.

Q: 9. Can the internal light be turned off/on with a switch?

A: You can turned the lamp on/off in the Ruggard EDC-80L Electronic Dry Cabinet (80L, Black) by tapping the F/C set button on the control panel.

Q: 10. Temperatire limitations?

A: Trimount’s activation temperature is 185-210°F (85-99°C).

[25 lb] Low heat adhesive. It does take about 24 hours to fully attach, but immediately after the platten, it is set and you will not be able to move your print. It is an off egg white color and inert chemically, and, for this type of non movable set, is archival. ColorMount was probably archival, but the Drytac truly is. It is an excellent product!

[Permanent] I haven't dry mounted in decades, but this stuff made it really easy. I was able to use this with a clothing iron, and so far the photos I mounted have stayed in place perfectly. Would buy again.
