Q: 1. I see a wire coming out of the bottom of this mount. Can snyone please tell me what it is?

A: That wire is about 6 feet long and is bare wire on the end. You use those wires to add the connector type needed for your application. In my case I added a XLR connector so a wireless transmitter could be used. That same connection could be attached to audio jacks built in to the floor that feed a sound system.

Q: 2. Are the fans hooked up to a hub in the case?

A: Information regarding the preexistence of a fan controller within the Montech X3 MESH Fans (Black) has not been provided by the manufacturer.

Q: 3. Can these be powered with PoE?

A: No, the Synology Wireless Tri-Band Mesh Router BH #SYMR2200AC does not take PoE power.

Q: 4. I do not have an RT2600. My current main router is a MR2200AC. Can I use a second MR2200AC as a satellite with my current MR2200AC? Can I just plug the satellite MR2200AC into an outlet with no ethernet cable- sorry, 2 questions.

A: Yes, you can purchase a second unit and through MESH, have the two talk to each other. You do not need an Ethernet cable to the second unit.

Q: 5. How well does this pop filter fit the Blue Yeti Nano?

A: This pop filter should fit onto the stand portion of the Yeti Nano decently well.

Q: 6. What is the dimension for the Video card slot on this case?

A: The Montech X3 MESH Fans (Black), B&H # MOX3MESHB supports a 305mm long graphics card.

Q: 7. Will this fit the MXL 990?

A: This pop filter is not designed for the 990. We would recommend a standard gooseneck style pop filter for the 990. B&H # AUPFMU12.

Q: 8. Can I control the rgb on the fans?

A: The RGB fans included with the Montech X3 MESH Fans (Black) are fixed. They can be turned on and off, but they are not assignable.

Q: 9. Will this work with the modem from my provider? I think it’s an Aris modem

A: It won't support the mesh function, and will only work as an access point for wireless. It is designed to work as a mesh wireless device along with an RT2600AC router from Synology. It won't even support the mesh function with an RT1900AC synology router, only the RT2600AC.

Q: 10. Can you plug the satellite in to receive the signal via Ethernet instead of mesh? (Is both an option?) I am currently using a mesh network from AMPLIFI and I don't think it's the best.

A: You can use a wired backhaul with this.

[2] With the help of Mr. Google, I looked at many laptop stands before ordering this one for me. It's as attractive, sturdy and functional as any of the others reviewed, and priced fairly. Unboxing and assembly was straightforward, fast and simple. Then I ordered another one for my envious friend. She decided to take it to her sister with severe arthritis and mobility issues. Sis was glad to replace her heavy cumbersome table with this stand because she can adjust it and easily roll it out of the way. I roll mine from room to room, out on the deck or screened porch or into a corner when it's not in use. The crescent shape of the top is both ergonomic and stylish. I highly recommend this classy laptop stand. And it's a good deal. 5
