Monitor HD or legacy SD sources with Lilliput's 665/S/P 7" On-Camera HDMI/SDI Monitor. The 7" LED-backlit 1024x600 display features a brightness of 250cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 800:1 for deep colors and black levels. Input signals up to 1080p in resolution are supported through compatible inputs. The rear panel sports SDI, HDMI, component, and composite inputs, as well as SDI, HDMI, and composite outputs. This version of the 665 monitor includes more advanced functions like false color and histogram exposure tools, as well as peaking, and pixel-to-pixel mapping for checking critical focus. The control knobs and custom function buttons on the front panel can be used to set up the monitor to look and operate to fit your production.

In the box you'll find LP-E6 and L-Series battery plates for powering the monitor, a shoe mount for securing the monitor to a standard accessory shoe, an HDMI cable which terminates in a Mini HDMI plug, an AC adapter for connecting to mains power, and a folding sun hood which protects the screen when not in use.

Q: 4. Will this work with the standard blackmagic 2.5K Camera?

A: It works with blackmagic 4K production camera with the SDI output set to 1920 x 1080 (not 4K). At first all monitor functions worked EXCEPT focus peaking, but the camera has built in focus peaking so that did not matter. It still bothered me so I contacted Lilliput support and they suggested doing a factory re-set. It worked! The monitor has both SDI and HDMI inputs, so if, like me, you also have a DSLR, it's perfect (for the price)

Q: 5. Can I connect more than one camera on this monitor and view at thesame time?

A: No you cannot. The monitor will only display 1 input at a time.

Q: 6. does it do cross conversion?(sdi/hdmi)

Q: 7. Is this compatible with a canon t3i ?

A: Yes it is. I use(d) on a rig with a T3i. The delay to preview/capture is REALLY annoying. Don't even use it anymore due to excessive lag time

Q: 8. It is possible to manually add the SDI connectors?

A: The Lilliput 663/O/P2 7" LCD On-Camera HDMI Monitor has other versions of the similar monitor with SDI included from the same product mold. This specific version cannot have the SDI added.

Q: 9. Will this monitor accept input from camcorder with 1080i output through component cables?

A: Yes it should. The monitor has Component inputs.

Q: 10. Will this monitor work for Blackmagic URSA Mini 4k? It has a 12G SDI out ... which confuses me, whether this 3G SDI monitor will work for the camera or not.

[10 W (Maximum)] I am a sound mixer who uses this monitor just as a frame reference, however I did have the DIT/Color grader and a camera guy comment on how good it looked fresh out of the box. Very impressed with the large size and powering options that it comes with. 5

[3.13 lb] I use this with my Red Komodo. I run my SDI signal directly from my Komodo to the Liliput. It's a great 1080p image. You really can't go wrong. As for false color and other cool monitor features, I split the SDI sometimes into other monitor or wireless units. Only downside is that you can't use a v-mount for field work. But let's be real, most of the time this is going to be used inside a studio. 5

[800:1] Once finding the Auto brightness setting and turning that off, this monitor blew me away! Bright and seemingly colour accurate so far - very happy, especially for the price! You won’t regret this purchase. 5

[7 to 24 VDC] We're using this on our Sony D50 video camera's. One of the Sony monitors died, and Sony no longer supports them. This is a great color monitor. It was easy to connect using standard BNC cables. Note: This monitor comes with a standard 1/4 hot shoe mount, so you don't need to buy one. I wish that had been listed under what's in the box on the B&H website. Would have save me $17, but in our line of work you always want to have a spare anyway. 5

[7 to 24 VDC] I am a professional cinematographer, I use this as an on-cam monitor, in addition to a 17inch reference monitor. Great monitor for the money, looks sturdy, all accessories included, various battery plates appreciated. It does not feel or look cheap. Used it for two weeks so far, with a Sony FS7, no glitches. Nice waveform and other exposure monitoring tools. I power it off the camera battery with a p-tap to DC connector wire. Everything works as advertised. Brightness outside is reasonable, but not incredible. With the supplied top/side hood (which is well built, btw) it is ok, but I will add another piece of black board on the bottom so as to cut all glare. Nice zoom feature, plus peaking, since I mostly use it for checking focus. Colors also look quite close to the truth. The 5 star rating is also in regard to the very affordable price for a full HD of its size. 5

[Focus Peaking] I used this one on my Sony AX2000 camcorder for a play I was recording. I needed a monitor that was lower than the camcorder and this was also larger. I found the HDMI connector works best. The composite was not clear at all and color washed out. I have a monitor already and needed an extra one for another camcorder. Can't beat the price. and the quality is just fine for what i do. 5
