[USB-A ] Wonderful touch and sound. Just what I wanted.

[USB-A ] I use my keyboard at the office for everyday typing. The dedicated buttons for music and volume worked upon plugging in the computer with no additional software installation required. The keyboard is very comfortable. It's not an ergonomic one, but the keys work as expected and are gentle to operate so it's easy on my hands. My one comment is that the legs in the back are very low and I prop it up on an extra 1 binder in order to achieve a comfortable angle.

[USB-A ] I strongly prefer mechanical keyboards. My Cherry MX Blue Stem arrived today and it's perfect. Replaces a sixteen year old Mircon mechanical keyboard that was beginning to wear out. Unless one is a gammer I see no reason to spend more for the more expensive keyboards

[USB-A ] This is a beast: solid, beautifully made keyboard with excellent audio controls all grouped together on the right with a wonderful, large volume dial. Typing is FAST with great tactile feedback. I gave up on thin, wired keyboards for the Mac from three other vendors--they don't hold up. The only thing missing is the hot key for widgets--solved by using hot corners in OS. If you need something robust, reliable with great key feedback--this is it. It sounds cool, too--love that mechanical key strike. Not one thing flimsy in this board.

[2.65 lb] The Cherry MX Brown switches are not noisy and have the right amount of tactile feeling. The build quality of this keyboard is solid and heavy. Mechanical keyboards have the keys higher than normal keyboards and some of the brands include a palm rest in the box. Das Keyboards do not come with it. I purchased a polyurethane palm rest to get the right height.


I'd be happy if they included something in the box for raising your palm, other than that it is a great keyboard!

[2.65 lb] I love the feel and speed of typing with this keyboard. The sound of the cherry MX Brown is not too loud. It is a big upgrade from our previous keyboard.

[USB-A ] My previous keyboard was a Realforce Topre keyboard (8 years). Moving to the Das with Cherry MX Brown switches has been a pleasant change.

[USB-A ] If you like a keyboard with a full keystroke and good tactile and audible feedback, this is an excellent choice.� The feel of the keyboard is very similar to the old IBM PC keyboards.� The only thing I miss are the home row indicators on the "F" and "J" keys... the little dot or bar protrusions that let your fingers know they are in the correct position (this keyboard doesn't have them, but it wasn't enough of a shortcoming to lower the overall rating).

[USB-A ] No bling, no extra USB hookups, no media keys, just a good basic mechanical keyboard!

[USB-A ] The keyboard is actually pretty heavy, underscoring its sturdy construction.  The keyboard is exactly what I was looking for - the same feel as that IBM keyboard I had 15 years ago, just keys and no mushy feel.  My typing is faster and more reliable.  I have only had the keyboard a month, but the construction seems to be very solid, and key spacing is perfect for quick touch typing.  Highly recommended!
