This roll of Protac High Gloss Polyester Laminate Film from Drytac measures 38" wide x 150' long. This high-performance polyester overlaminating film is coated with an aggressive pressure-sensitive solvent acrylic adhesive and is backed by a clear polyester release liner. Its mirror-like finish enhances both color and contrast, and it adds depth and detail to graphic images, whether photographic, inkjet, or other output media. Protac High Gloss UV is also the recommended film for photo competition prints, POP graphics, or anywhere a high-gloss, almost mirror-like finish is desired.

Q: 1. Does it require to remove the APS negative from the roll?

A: Yes. Their website has a link to a video that shows you how to open the aps container.

A: The machine itself does allow for basic changes such as colour and contrast. The reason I highly recommend this product is its ability to quickly digitise and its screen size. I correct later through photoshop.

Q: 5. For 35mm loading, does this device have something that flattens the film before/as it scans? My film strips not only curl at the end which is no biggy but they bow like a tunnel all the way down which is my current issue and wondering if this machine will flatten before scanning so it is all in focus. Thank you in advance.

A: I believe you are talking about 35mm negatives, right? Assuming this is true, the negative holder that the negative strip is put into before putting it into the machine is kind if like a coin slide with a big window in the middle. The strip is contained by the sides of and positioned by the holder but the window allows the light to shoot thru the negative and digitize the photo. The holder does keep the negative somewhat flat but somehow I don't know how your negatives ever got curled up or bowed in the first place. That's beside the point, though. This negative holder will help but it does not clamp the negative down to make it flat. The negative strip, when it is in the holder, must have some looseness to allow you to slide the negative through the holder once it is in the machine in order to digitize more than one photo from that negative strip. So yes, it helps flatten it but any severe bowing or cupping will not be corrected by the holder. You would need to find a way to gently, over time, flatten the negative strips that are badly bowed/cupped. I'd use pressure by putting each one in the middle of separate pages of a real heavy book for a while and pile weight on top of it. Hope this helps.

A: No.

Q: 7. Will the Wolverine take different slide sizes? I have a box of old "stereo" slides from Kodak with two images that can be viewed as "3D". I would like to scan just one of each of the images, but the size is smaller than 35mm. How flexible is the scanner?

A: Wolverine makes different size slide carriers, so all you would need to do is make sure you purchase the right carrier for the film and you should be able to scan them in properly.

A: They might fit but the wire isn't removable on the TH-02 so I wouldn't recommend it, it would be very close and might bend.

Westcott makes great backdrops! Only thing that would make it better is if there was a pole pocket on the 10' edge, and not just on the 9' edge. 5

This fabric backdrop is deceptive in all the right ways. I have a much smaller space than the 9' width, so it's bunched at the edges of my bar, which means the fabric has waves and creases (not to mention the pre-existing fold marks). Plus the fabric is textured. I certainly expected these to show up, but to my delight every picture appears matte and flat and flawless. Ordered it in deep black as well. Definitely recommend. 5

This is a good white background. It works well for shooting talking heads. It's plenty long enough and just wide enough. It has a solid pocket for the rod, hangs well and gives you a nice rounded cyc curve. It came in a sealed plastic bag, inside a cloth, drawstring bag. Yet, when we opened it, there were big patches of dirt in several spots, like someone has dragged it on a dirty floor before packing it, and it was highly wrinkled. We have washed it, re-hung it and steamed out the wrinkles and it works fine. Just be aware that you may have to at least do the steaming before you can use it out of the box (bag). 5

In my studio I have always shot with a gray background. For some reason I shied away from any other color. Not anymore. The white background is more versatile. Depending upon how I light it, It can go from dark gray to pure white. Thank goodness it's washable. I love it. 5

This backdrop is a great size and a great material. I used to use a cloth/cotton/who-knows-what backdrop and the struggle with wrinkles and see-through was so time-consuming. This material is soft, wrinkle-free and there's plenty of it to be had. 5

Worked well and really helped me get a clean black backdrop. When I first hung it, there were obvious creases and folds from it being packaged, but with a fabric steamer I was quickly able to get a smooth backdrop. 5

I use this foam to press flowers. It works well and i just wish it did not cost so much but for what i do its worth it.. Great customer service. I cant believe how fast i get it..... 5

I bought this as a hiking headlamp and just tried it out hiking 3.5 miles down a mountain in the dark. For that purpose, I find it perfect. The throw has a decently wide periphery to show everything on the trail, but a nice concentrated point towards the center in order to illuminate the distance. The low setting is bright enough for me and I can see the trail including trail markers easily up to about 50-60 yards away. The brightest setting is awesome if you want to light up the woods like a car headlamp on high beam, but otherwise unnecessary for my purposes. The ability to charge the battery while it is in the headlamp is very convenient for topping the battery off before use. This metal-bodied headlamp is much heavier than others that I own which are all made of plastic, but I have a big head to begin with and did not notice any discomfort; all other headlamps I own are now going into back-up status. Also, I would not recommend this headlamp for close-up work as the concentration of light in the center of the throw is very bright even on the low setting, unless you want to use the included red filter. Overall, this is the 4th product by Streamlight that I have purchased (the others being various flashlight models) and this brand has become my favorite by far for illuminating my nighttime outdoor activities in the deeply rural area where I live. The products have a rugged high-quality feel with solid metal bodies, glass lenses and well thought-out functional designs. 5
