The CVL Centraverse lavalier condenser microphone is built for low visibility and clear vocal reproduction. The mic features a cardioid polar pattern that rejects unwanted noise, Commshield RF Filtering to minimize RF interference from nearby smartphones, and a tailored frequency response optimized for speech intelligibility.

The PG58 dynamic capsule features a cardioid polar pattern that minimizes background noise and feedback. The built-in spherical wind and pop filter reduces plosives for clear vocals.

The durable bodypack transmitter offers a lightweight, ergonomic design that is comfortable for the presenter to wear. There is also an easily accessible on/off switch and a TA4M 4-pin input jack.

The lightweight handheld transmitter is comfortable to hold and is equipped with an on/off button and a black identification cap. The WA621 Color ID Caps kit containing assorted colored caps is available as an optional accessory.

Both transmitters offer adjustable gain control, along with group and channel selection buttons for quick and simple frequency matching with the receiver.

The BLX88 receiver employs a microprocessor-controlled internal antenna diversity feature to improve the quality and reliability of your wireless audio. Two LED displays show group and channel settings, while four LED lights indicate when the system is ready for use and the strength of the incoming audio signal. The unit offers two 1/4" and two XLR outputs for connectivity to PA systems and mixing boards.

Shure offers a variety of lavalier, instrument, headset, and handheld microphone options to adapt your BLX system as your needs evolve.

  • The discrete MX153 sub-miniature earset mic provides exceptional clarity in spoken word applications.
  • The PGA31 is a comfortable, durable headset microphone for active performance.
  • Instrumentalists can attach the WB98H/C flexible gooseneck instrument microphone for brass, woodwind, and percussion applications.
  • The WA302 guitar cable lets you connect the bodypack transmitter to a guitar or bass.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can you use 2 units on 2 cameras side by side, with same freq range?

A: Yes, it is possible to use two Sony UWP-D26 Camera-Mount Wireless Combo Microphone Systems that operate on the same frequency band at the same time within 330 feet of each other. Only one transmitter can be used at a time with each receiver. When you are setting up the wireless systems and pairing the transmitters and receivers, each system will automatically pair to a different frequency within the same frequency band.

Q: 2. Can multiple receivers be used simultaneously to get the same signal?

A: Yes. An unlimited number of bodypack receivers can tune in to the transmission of one transmitter provided all units are of the same frequency band.

Q: 3. Is there a limitation on where in the country I can use this wireless set?

A: If referring to use within the United States, the Sony UWP-D26 Camera-Mount Wireless Combo Microphone System (UC25: 536 to 608 MHz) is able to be used throughout. The only limitations may come when attempting to use within privately owned locations, such as a sports venue with specific wireless permissions and coordination.

Q: 4. will the URx P40 work with a UTX-P03 Transmitter?

A: Yes, the Sony URX-P40 Camera-Mount Wireless Receiver from the Sony UWP-D26 Camera-Mount Wireless Combo Microphone System is compatible for use with Sony UTX-P03 Plug-On Transmitters operating on the same frequency range.

Q: 5. Can both mics (a handheld and lav) be used at the same time?

A: No the Sony UWP-D26 Camera-Mount Wireless Combo Microphone System is a single channel combo system. You can only use one mic at a time. You would need to buy a dual channel system if you wanted to run 2 mic's with one receiver.

Q: 6. Does the UC90 need a FCC license to operate in the US?

A: No, you do not need a license to operate the Sony UWP-D26 Camera-Mount Wireless Combo Microphone System (UC90: 941 to 960 MHz) within the US.

Q: 7. How to adjust volume on actual mic

A: At this time, we can not find an available manual for this item to guide you. In general for most wireless systems, there should be a level control option in the menu of the receiver where you would adjust the output signal up or down.

Q: 8. I have been told that the Shure PSM 300 Twin-Pack is capable of being used as a wireless speaker system like the SENNHEISER Wireless Speaker System 5 which consists of 1 Transmitter and 2 Receivers. Please let me know if that is doable. I have always wondered if it will damage the speakers or not thanks?

A: Yes, essentially you could use the PSM 300 Twin-Pack as a Wireless Speaker System. They are NOT meant for this purpose, but if the proper cabling is used, proper gain staging, and you have proper line of sight this should cause no harm to the speakers.

Q: 9. Can you use a sharkfin antenna to increase the range of the transmitter if you needed a distance further than 300ft?

A: Adding a PA805SWB antenna will achieve abut 300', line of sight. It is possible, in ideal conditions to achieve over 300'. To insure 300+ feet, the PSM 900 offers higher power transmitter. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1442222-REG/shure_p9trap425cl_g6_psm900_personal_monitor_system_rackmount.html https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/584718-REG/Shure_PA805SWB_PA805SWB_Directional_Antenna_for.html/specs

Q: 10. is there something on the device that would make it introduce hiss into the transmission? I recently bought one. Tested it with 2 identical senheiser boom mics requiring 48v phantom. One sounds great, the other has a major hiss. Tried it on several other mics (57s/58s) and nothing. The "bad" mic works 100% when wired.

A: 1. Make sure to scan for the best frequencies to use before every session. 2. Try lowering the gain

[Mono] I've used this unit on a handful of wedding ceremony gigs, all of which were outdoors. One of the gigs was incredibly windy. The lapel mic picked up wind noise (even with the wind guard) while the handheld mic had virtually no noise. However, the noise was completely tolerable given the situation. This unit is very easy to set up/sync. I've not had any issues with connectivity, signal or going out of range. Hopefully, this will remain the case going forward!

[Analog UHF ] B&H is my source for just about everything they sell that I need or can use. I had an issue initially setting this up correctly for my church. You need someone to assist to do it right. It took 3 weeks to get the channels correct doing it myself, but it works awesome. Shure is for sure my go-to brand for microphones.

[10 mW] This system is replacing a 25 year old VHF wireless unit. Sound is clear, natural and free from hiss and hum. Everything worked right out of the box. The mics will be used in our college TV studio, and although they probably won't last another 25 years... for the money we got a good deal.

[24 MHz] I was in need of some good Lav mics for our training studio and these are just what I was looking for! B&H got it to me quickly even with all the Covid 19 headaches that we are all dealing with!

[2] We needed the dual channel receiver to be able to have simultaneous use of a lavalier and handheld mic, and it works well. The sound is clear and without static, and simple to set up after you have done it once. Our meeting group is about 100 persons once a month in a restaurant event room. The only problem we have is that the speaker box provided by the restaurant has one mic volume control for the same 2 inputs. When the volume is set properly for the lavalier mic, we have to decrease the volume slightly when the handheld mic is used (or ensure the speaker holds the mic about 8 inches from his mouth).
