The WL93 condenser microphone is built for low visibility and clear vocal reproduction in low-volume environments. The mic's omnidirectional polar pattern offers consistent pickup even when the talent turns away from the mic, while Commshield RF Filtering minimizes RF interference from nearby smartphones. The tailored frequency response features a controlled low-end roll-off and is optimized for speech intelligibility.

The durable BLX1 bodypack transmitter offers a lightweight, ergonomic design that is comfortable for the presenter to wear. Group and channel selection buttons allow for quick and simple frequency matching with the receiver. Other features include an easily accessible on/off switch, adjustable gain control, and a TA4M 4-pin input jack.

The BLX4R receiver employs a microprocessor-controlled antenna diversity feature to improve the quality and reliability of your wireless audio. The receiver can be rackmounted with the included hardware, allowing you to position the two removable antennas on the front of the rack for optimal signal reception.

The LCD display shows group and channel settings, and allows you to meter audio level and signal strength. An LED indicator even lets you keep an eye on the transmitter's remaining battery life. The unit offers 1/4" and XLR connectors with adjustable output level for flexible connectivity to PA systems and mixing boards.

Shure offers a variety of headset, instrument, and handheld microphone options to adapt your BLX system as your needs evolve.

  • The discrete MX153 sub-miniature earset mic provides exceptional clarity in spoken word applications.
  • The PGA31 is a comfortable, durable headset microphone for active performance.
  • Instrumentalists can attach the WB98H/C flexible gooseneck instrument microphone for brass, woodwind, and percussion applications.
  • The WA302 guitar cable lets you connect the bodypack transmitter to a guitar or bass.
  • The BLX2 handheld transmitter is available with three different mic capsules for presenters who prefer the flexibility of a handheld microphone.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Do these have auto shut-off? If so, can it be disabled?

A: No auto shut off. I agree with Bob B.: always charge units before using. They don't seem to hold charge very well while in storage or non-use.

Q: 2. Can both mics (a handheld and lav) be used at the same time?

A: No the Sony UWP-D26 Camera-Mount Wireless Combo Microphone System is a single channel combo system. You can only use one mic at a time. You would need to buy a dual channel system if you wanted to run 2 mic's with one receiver.

Q: 3. Would this work with a digital voice recorder? (i.e. Olympus WS-822?) Thanks!

A: No. It is compatible with mobile phones or tablets that offer a 1/8 TRRS Connector

Q: 4. Does it work with lightning adapter for iPhone 7?

A: The Wi AudioStream Pro AV Portable Digital Wireless Lavalier System from Wi Digital will work with the iPhone 7 provided the lightning to 3.5mm female adapter is used, in conjunction with a 3.5mm trs female to a 3.5mm trrs male adapter.

Q: 5. Does it work with ipad 2?

A: The Shure MVL will work with the iPad 2 and all other iOS devices such as the iPhone, and iPod. Connection via the headphone jack.

Q: 6. one mic is louder than the other. is there anyway to fix this?

A: Make sure that both microphones are connected to the mic input (not the line input) on each of the transmitters. Since the WMX-1-DUO system does not have individual level controls for each transmitter and people do tend to speak at different volume levels, try experimenting with placement of the microphones on each person wearing a mic. Try moving the mic closer to the mouth of the person whose volume is lower or move the mic further away from the mouth of the person whose volume is louder. If you find that there is still an usual difference between the output levels of each mic, please contact us for further assistance so we can do additional troubleshooting to determine whether there may be a problem with one of the mics or transmitters..

Q: 7. Is this compatible with dsrl cameras like Sony Alpha 7a II?

A: It is compatible with Mobile Phones or Tablets only and not designed for use with DSLR cameras or camcorders.

Q: 8. Would this work on the 3.5mm adapter for the Gopro4 which is connected on the Gopro?

A: No - it is designed for devices offering a female 1/8 TRRS input like smartphones and tablets.

Q: 9. Cuándo está disponible?

A: La fecha estimada de entrega más reciente que ha proporcionado Saramonic es el 23 de enero.

Q: 10. Is this mic compatible with the DJI Mic 2 transmitters?

A: The Shure MOTIV MVL Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone for Smartphones has a TRRS connector for use with smartphones. It would not be compatible with a wireless transmitter such as the DJI Mic 2.

[-38 dBV/Pa] We used the wireless microphones at church. The were very easy to set up and configure. They worked great the first Sunday we used them. The sound quality was crispy clear.

[120 dB SPL] I bought this microphone to replace one that I got about a year ago. While that one cost about half as much as the Sure, what did I really save with it only lasting a year. Even though this microphone is Sure's lowest cost wireless microphone, the quality is outstanding. The setup was simply putting the batteries in the microphone and plugging the receiver in and it was ready to go. I'm using it for speaking only and the sound is excellent. When you turn the microphone on and off there is no audible sound. I haven't had it to loose connection with the receiver once. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Sure has been a leading microphone manufacture for as long as I can remember. It's nice to be able to buy something of this quality today.

[1x Bodypack] We just purchased 8 of these wireless mics, and rack-mounted them. The set-up was easy and the sound quality was easily adjusted using the on-board gain. We are very happy with the purchase.

[102 dB] Before purchasing, I went on the Shure website and used their spectrum tool to choose the best version for my location, which turned out to be J10. When the unit arrived, I had it auto-scan to find the best channels for the each mic. It chose A0 and A8. I then put the receiver into a server room adjacent to the presentation area. The unit is sitting in a server rack on top of the PA amplifier. It's located about 12-18 feet from the presenter, but on the other side of a metal stud interior office wall. The sound is flawless, from both mics. I have never noticed a single dropout so far on the supplied batteries (it comes with 4 AA batteries, which powers for mics). I highly recommend this mic system. I also ordered the Shure anti-roll ring to go on the handheld mic, because sooner or later someone will wet it on a desk and it will roll off and hit the floor.

[Lavalier] This microphone combo is a must for a mobile DJ. I have used this set up at two wedding ceremonies. One wedding was indoors and I didn't have any issues. The second wedding was outdoors. I did have a couple issues with the channels. For some reason the microphones were not matching the channels I set for them. After a couple of adjustment I managed to make the microphones work. I gave the lavalier microphone to the wedding officiant and the handheld microphone to a duo of musicians. Everything sounded great without issues. I never lost the signal, there were no sudden drops of signal, no feedbacks or interference. That's remarkable for an outdoor wedding ceremony. I'm satisfied with this system so far. It is just what I needed.

[Lavalier] While this is Shure's low end dual mic system, there is nothing better on the market at this price point. We have done 20 live events and it has not failed us once. The only con is, there isn't a battery meter indicator- the light begins to flash red symbolizing low battery. Well worth the money!

[28 dB ] The system has worked very well for the Church. I was able to remove the old equipment and exchange the new and was back in business. It has worked for our services without any feed back or volume problem.
