Group and channel selection buttons allow for quick and simple frequency matching with the receiver. Other features include an easily accessible on/off switch, adjustable gain control, and a TA4M 4-pin input jack.

A: The FCC recently made changes to regulations for use of the 600 MHz band within the United States. Frequencies above 616 MHz are now designated for broadband use and can no longer be used for operating wireless microphones. More details are available here: https://www.fcc.gov/consumers/guides/operation-wireless-microphones

Q: 2. Can this receiver be as a IFB to monitor audio?

Q: 3. Can you use 2 of these units with one body pack transmitter. Use case would be put one receiver on camera for monitoring and one receiver into audio recorder as a way of having redundancy in recordings.

A: Yes, two Sony URX-P40 Camera-Mount Wireless Receivers can be used with a single transmitter, as long as both the transmitter and the receivers are set to the same wireless channel.

Q: 4. Does the UC90 need a FCC license to operate in the US?

A: If referring to use within the United States, the Sony UWP-D26 Camera-Mount Wireless Combo Microphone System (UC25: 536 to 608 MHz) is able to be used throughout. The only limitations may come when attempting to use within privately owned locations, such as a sports venue with specific wireless permissions and coordination.

Q: 6. Does this fit the new EW-D receiver?

A: The Sennheiser EW-D EM receiver comes with a dedicated rackmount kit for mounting either a single receiver or two receivers together in a standard 19" rack. The GA 4 Rackmount Kit is designed for use with the EM D1 receiver and the dimensions of this receiver are slightly different from those of the EW-D EM receiver. The EM D1 is a bit smaller. At this time Sennheiser does not offer a separate rackmount kit for the EW-D EM since it is included in the box with the receiver. But you can contact Sennheiser directly if you need replacement parts.

[123] My church has struggled with inconsistent signal strength from our current wireless microphones. This one just works. It scans for an ideal frequency, you pair it with the transmitter, and then it works. Not a single problem.

[Analog UHF ] I bought this microphone to replace one that I got about a year ago. While that one cost about half as much as the Sure, what did I really save with it only lasting a year. Even though this microphone is Sure's lowest cost wireless microphone, the quality is outstanding. The setup was simply putting the batteries in the microphone and plugging the receiver in and it was ready to go. I'm using it for speaking only and the sound is excellent. When you turn the microphone on and off there is no audible sound. I haven't had it to loose connection with the receiver once. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Sure has been a leading microphone manufacture for as long as I can remember. It's nice to be able to buy something of this quality today.

So we decided to purchase this item and we couldn't be happier it works as advertised and clear vocals with no feed back.
