The CVL Centraverse lavalier condenser microphones are built for low visibility and clear vocal reproduction. The mics feature cardioid polar patterns that help reject unwanted noise, Commshield RF Filtering to minimize RF interference from nearby smartphones, and a tailored frequency response optimized for speech intelligibility.

The durable BLX1 bodypack transmitters offer a lightweight, ergonomic design that is comfortable for presenters to wear. Group- and channel-selection buttons allow for quick and simple frequency matching with the receiver. Other features include an easily accessible on/off switch, adjustable gain control, and a TA4M 4-pin input jack.

The BLX88 receiver employs a microprocessor-controlled internal antenna diversity feature to improve the quality and reliability of your wireless audio. Two LED displays show group and channel settings, while four LED lights indicate when the system is ready for use and the strength of the incoming audio signal. The unit offers two 1/4" and two XLR outputs for connectivity to PA systems and mixing boards.

Shure offers a variety of lavalier, instrument, headset, and handheld microphone options to adapt your BLX system as your needs evolve.

  • The discrete MX153 sub-miniature earset mic provides exceptional clarity in spoken word applications.
  • The PGA31 is a comfortable, durable headset microphone for active performance.
  • Instrumentalists can attach the WB98H/C flexible gooseneck instrument microphone for brass, woodwind, and percussion applications.
  • The WA302 guitar cable lets you connect the bodypack transmitter to a guitar or bass.
  • The BLX2 handheld transmitter is available with three different mic capsules for presenters who prefer the flexibility of a handheld microphone.

A: The Mackie EleMent only send and receive mono signals.

Q: 2. Is this mic compatible with the DJI Mic 2 transmitters?

A: The Shure MOTIV MVL Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone for Smartphones has a TRRS connector for use with smartphones. It would not be compatible with a wireless transmitter such as the DJI Mic 2.

Q: 3. Should I use a 1/8" TRS or 1/8" TS to XLR for a balanced XLR input?

A: You will want to use an 1/8" (3.5mm) TRS male to XLR male cable to connect the output from the wireless receiver included with the Mackie EleMent Wave LAV Compact Digital Wireless Lavalier Microphone System to a balanced XLR input. The output connector on the wireless receiver is TRS.

Q: 4. Does the 'Wireless System Only' come with a charger?

A: The "Wireless System Only" version of the JOBY Wavo AIR 2-Person Digital Wireless Lavalier Microphone System does not include a charger, however it does come with 3 x USB Type-C to USB Type-A Cables for charging.

Q: 5. I want to use my iphone 8 as a recorder which does not have a headphone jack. I could just use an adapter for that, right? I want to be able to record on my phone and monitor from the headphone jack on the receiver. Can this be set up this way?

A: To connect the receiver of the Mackie EleMent Wave LAV Compact Digital Wireless Lavalier Microphone System for Cameras and Smartphones to the iPhone, implement the included TRS to TRRS output cable alongside the Apple Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter (BH #APLAADAP): https://bhpho.to/3KpYrG8. The receiver in the EleMent Wave LAV system includes a dedicated headphone jack for monitoring while simultaneously outputting signal to your phone or other device.

A: The JOBY Wavo AIR 2-Person Digital Wireless Lavalier Microphone System sends a combined signal with the audio from both transmitters mixed together on the left and right.

Q: 7. The manual says no less than 3 meters between transmitter and receiver. I want to use a smaller distances sometimes. Will it work? What will I get at 2 meters? I am not concerned about the maximum distance of 70 meters. I am concerned about going below the minimum distance of 3 meters. Please answer with regard to effect of using at 2 meters. Thanks.

A: The Mackie EleMent Wave LAV will work at less than 3 meters between the transmitter and the receiver.

Q: 8. Does it work with ipad 2?

A: The Shure MVL will work with the iPad 2 and all other iOS devices such as the iPhone, and iPod. Connection via the headphone jack.

Q: 9. Can additional transmitters be paired with one receiver? I would love to have 3-4 mics attached to the receiver in my scenarios.

A: The receiver in the JOBY Wavo AIR 2-Person Digital Wireless Lavalier Microphone System (2.4 GHz) can connect to a maximum of two transmitters at one time. Increasing the number of transmitters would require more receivers to accommodate them.

Q: 10. How to adjust volume on actual mic

A: At this time, we can not find an available manual for this item to guide you. In general for most wireless systems, there should be a level control option in the menu of the receiver where you would adjust the output signal up or down.

[10 mW] works very well for our office conference room setup where we wanted lav mics to add to our handheld system.

[ABS] We bought these to replace the old mic pack used by our senior pastor. We got two great sounding mics out of this purchase. Although we use different model headset mics rather than the lapels it comes with for the pastors, the lapels work just as well. We have used them for other guest speakers with no issues.

[>50 dB] We've only used the microphone one time so far and it worked great. There was no feedback noise at all, sound was really good! Set up was very easy and I don't know anything about microphone systems. We are extremely happy with our new lav mic so far!
We work in a 3 story 130 year old brick building, where sometimes audio and wifi don't always work as it should. This microphone worked perfectly!
