A: Hello Lawrence,I purchased this charger this past November and it has been working well. It will charge both batteries simultaneously. Unfortunately the charging time depends on the battery condition at the time of charge. I have to say that they charge fairly quickly. There is only one charge rate fast . Not sure what the service life is, but it does come with a one year limited warranty. I've been satisfied with tis performance. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Q: 2. Does this battery come with a charger? Or is the recommended accessory shown (Dual V-Mount charger) just a luxury item?

A: Unfortunately, this battery does not include a charger. The Dracast DR-CH2V Dual V-Mount Battery Charger B&H # DRCH2V which is recommended as an accessory for this battery would be a solid choice since you can charge up to two batteries at once.

Q: 3. Does this work with Dionic HC batteries?

A: The DR-CH2A will charge the Dionic HC batteries.

Q: 4. How long would this battery power a Dracast CamLux Max LED light?

A: One Watt-hour (Wh) will power one Watt for one hour. The CamLux Max specs say it requires 18 Watts. Q: 5. Can this battery be charged via the D-Tap connection? If so, I have a Switronics D-Tap charger, will it work with this battery?

A: That's what I use and it works. I did find the Dracasts lose their charge much faster than the Switronics now Core batteries in the same category like the LP-L90A's. Maybe not as big a charge as well.

Q: 6. Can this battery be charged while attached to the light while the light is plugged in with wall power cable?

A: Unfortunately, the battery cannot be charged while attached to the light while it is plugged into the wall. You would need a charger like the Dracast DR-CH2V Dual V-Mount Battery Charger B&H # DRCH2V. Please see the image.

Q: 8. Can this charger charge Comer DandO gold mount batteries?

A: It is usually best to use chargers made by the same manufacturer as the battery. many manufacturers have proprietary firmware in their batteries that require a native charger to properly charge the battery. This doesn't necessarily mean that the batteries wont charge if used with other chargers but it reduces the consistency or reliability when using other chargers. Therefore, while it is likely that this charger will work with the Comer batteries we can not guarantee consistent results. We can only guarantee that this Dracast charger will work consistently with Dracast batteries.

Q: 9. What are the dimensions of this battery? it says 6.7 x 3.9 x 1.5 but it seems to be the dimensions of the regular battery not the compact (regular is stated as 6.69 x 3.94 x 1.85 ), can someone please elaborate on the real size? mainly the hight?

[6 x 4.4 x 2.3"] It's been a while that I'm looking for an adapter plate to use my gold-mount batteries on my camera that has a v-mount plate. There's a couple options that are cheaper, but hey, buy cheap buy twice! This adapter plate is very well-made with quality components and you can be sure that there will be no electrical shorts or bugs with this one. Personally, I prefer buying this brand than a 100$ plastic adapter that won't last the long run. Very happy with this product. 5

[0.35 lb] I got these for my Dracast LED lights and they are perfect. �The batteries have a gauge on the side to see how charged they are and the charger is compact and lightweight. The only thing to be careful of is that it is so light weight that if you don't have both batteries charging (or when you remove one) it is very unstable and almost fell off my desk. 5

[6 x 4.4 x 2.3"] I tend to use large v mounts for work because they last longer, but occasionally I need to have a few small ones under 100AH For travel to meet the TSA requirement. I Shoot mostly on the Sony Fs7 and these Dracast batteries are the perfect size for this camera, also nice and light for hand held shots. The beauty of this bundle is you get a nice light weight charger that you can travel with as well as a battery. I picked up a second battery- and now I have a little travel power package- although be forewarned even though this charger doubles as an AC power supply, it makes it useless if you need to record sound. 5

[6 x 4.4 x 2.3"] I got this set to work with my FS7 and they have been great so far. The batteries are a lot smaller than I expected but thats ok they still pack enough punch and I like to keep a low profile anyways. 5

[0.35 lb] Now I can mount an Anton Bauer battery to my Dracast LED in a snap. Of which I have many. The adapter is easy to attach/detach so I have the flexibility to use V mount batteries with no adapter, or AB Gold mount batteries with the adapter. I fooled around with ordering a cheaper knock off from China. Bad experience. This works perfectly. 5

[0.35 lb] Gah, so pricey. Somehow, 2 batteries and a charger cost more than my entire Dracast light kit??! Works well though, paid for itself the first time I’ve used them. I have no trouble getting them to lock into place, they just require a little push to click them in. 5

[0.35 lb] I love having this for my Dracast LEDs. I can power an LED500 for 2 hours with this. Charges overnight in about 6-7 hours (from 100% dead). Don't need separate charger for this 95Wh (the smaller 90Wh battery needs a separate charger). Very handy to have good light without an AC outlet. 5

[0.35 lb] This was the perfect accessory to my Dracast lights. I do a lot of on location video and photos. And running an extension cord from a power adapter just doesn’t say professional. Now I can set up anywhere. The charge holds for what seems like forever and there is no drop in quality of the LEDs. If you want to be mobile and versatile. I highly recommend getting the batteries. 5
