Q: 1. will this charge Switronix Hypercore batts?

A: Just as long as they are Gold Mount the Switronix Hypercore Batteries should charge fine on this unit. For the most part Gold Mount batteries and chargers are interchangeable between brands.

Q: 2. Can this battery be charged via the D-Tap connection? If so, I have a Switronics D-Tap charger, will it work with this battery?

A: That's what I use and it works. I did find the Dracasts lose their charge much faster than the Switronics now Core batteries in the same category like the LP-L90A's. Maybe not as big a charge as well.

Q: 3. Is this charger compatible with the ikan IB-L130S V-mount battery?

A: We are not able to test in between brands but there should be no reason that this charger would not charge the Ikan battery.

Q: 4. The USB port doesn't seem to charge iPhones, any idea of what I'm doing wrong

A: You have to hold the battery check button on the side for two or three seconds. That turns on the usb port.

Q: 5. What are the dimensions of this battery? it says 6.7 x 3.9 x 1.5 but it seems to be the dimensions of the regular battery not the compact (regular is stated as 6.69 x 3.94 x 1.85 ), can someone please elaborate on the real size? mainly the hight?

Q: 6. Can this battery be charged while attached to the light while the light is plugged in with wall power cable?

A: Unfortunately, the battery cannot be charged while attached to the light while it is plugged into the wall. You would need a charger like the Dracast DR-CH2V Dual V-Mount Battery Charger B&H # DRCH2V. Please see the image.

A: I would not recommend this product for this purpose because you will need an option that can supply the high wattage that those LED panels require. A: The DR-CH2A will charge the Dionic HC batteries.

[19 mm Rod Mount] Does the job perfectly for my Dracast gold mount batteries. I feel it is very well made and reliable. Charges them pretty quickly too, even 2 at a time. 5

[19 mm Rod Mount] Now I can mount an Anton Bauer battery to my Dracast LED in a snap. Of which I have many. The adapter is easy to attach/detach so I have the flexibility to use V mount batteries with no adapter, or AB Gold mount batteries with the adapter. I fooled around with ordering a cheaper knock off from China. Bad experience. This works perfectly. 5

[19 mm Rod Mount] I love having this for my Dracast LEDs. I can power an LED500 for 2 hours with this. Charges overnight in about 6-7 hours (from 100% dead). Don't need separate charger for this 95Wh (the smaller 90Wh battery needs a separate charger). Very handy to have good light without an AC outlet. 5

[19 mm Rod Mount] No Charger needed. Just plug it into the wall with a computer power cord (not included). Works fine. I use it to power Ikan Video lights. 5

[1x D-Tap] Pros: An affordable V Mount battery that doesnt need an external charger. Charges with a standard PC power cord. Rubberized surface makes it feel durable and easy to grip. Cons: Its a little difficult to get the battery onto some of the Dracast v mount lights. Once on the lights it works, but never snaps in. Otherwise love the battery so far! 5

[V-Mount] Good light weight charger for the Dracast batteries. Purchased this because the Dracast batteries were not charging correctly on my Anton Bauer chargers. 5

[1x D-Tap] I use it with a Dracast LED1000 light for location photo and video work. It's light, has a built in charger and gives me lots of light in remote locations. 5

[1x D-Tap] Work great. I like the built in charger though I have the Dracast dual charger I use with previous batteries. Contrary to another reviewer's comment, mine did come with a cable that plugs the unit into a wall socket to charge it. The USB socket will charge a phone, you need to punch in the button on the side for the USB to power up. Would be handy if they included an instruction sheet to explain this. 5
