[0.3 m - ∞] The Tamron 13VM308ASIRII is a cheap versatile lens for industrial inspection cameras; it is also good for IR. The image is almost as good as the more expensive megapixel version M13VM308. These lenses are also available with auto apertures, which would be useful in variable light conditions with appropriate CCD units. 5
