[16.7 lb] The Auray RM-MCLED Multicolor LED Rack Light is a basic yet capable light that can suit a ton of different applications.


The way I have been using this light is as an accent light to add some pop to some shots and then in a deep dark cabinet that doesn't have a lot of light in it.


It's pretty easy to operate, with two buttons. One button if you hold down it'll power on and dim the light, the other controls the color or you can cycle it.


It's easy to mount and the mount itself swivels a bit so you have options on how you want to mount it. I think this is going to end up in my gear closet to help out when I'm packing up. It's also super lightweight so it doesn't need much to mount it.

[TAA] It’s exactly what I was hoping for and more. I won’t use the other colors much but I will use it to see the connections inside my PA rack. It’s quite bright on the highest setting. I have it mounted facing down for this purpose. I can swivel it any direction along it’s axis to reveal dark spots also. I’m glad I got it.

[TAA] First, this should be a standard item in every 2019 Mac Pro. Apple offers an option for twice the price and can only handle 2 drives.


Second, all you need is a small Phillips screwdriver and a T-8 Torx driver (Apple utilizes 2 of the T-8 fasteners).


The rest is easy.


I watched a video on how to do this and minutes later I had 3 SSD drives attached and plugged in and working!



Included with the System are the cable harnesses for 2 of the drives and a USB cable for the 3rd drive.


NOTE: If you watch videos on how to do this, the video may tell you that you need a T-7 Torx but fortunately for me, I had a set and the T-7 is too small but the T-8 fits perfectly.

[16.7 lb] This light works perfectly. Being able to mount the light right into the rack makes it very convenient to use. The light is bright enough for our dark master control, and having a dimmer function lets me set the intensity exactly where I want it. I love having the ability to choose a color for the light as well. It looks great in the rack and is very functional. If I need a bright white light, I can choose it, but if we want a color for visual effect or any other reason, I can do that too. It comes with 12 preset colors, but I personally I prefer using it as a blue light, because it looks really good in our rack, but having the flexibility of choosing the light color is nice to have. You can also set the light to bi-color mode and choose from a range of 2700 to 6500K. This light also rotates so I can turn it whichever direction needed. That works out very well. I can tilt it down to see the equipment below or tilt it up for the machines above. Having that ability is great. The diffusion of the light is helpful too, because it is not spotty at all. It is a nice soft light, but still plenty bright enough to function well. That is good for reading the instrument panels of the equipment. The buttons are responsive and it is very easy to use. The light comes with a power supply which is not too big and the cable is long enough to reach an outlet. This is a great light and works very well for me.
