Give your SPCVR-1201 Speaker a modest degree of protection from inclement weather, dirt, and dust with this black Yamaha SPCVR-1201 Speaker Cover for DXR12 DBR12 CBR12from Yamaha. It has a polyester surface, a PVC coated backside, and is designed to protect your DXR12 / DBR12 / CBR12 speaker during outdoor events, while it is in dusty storage environments, or from the rigors of on-the-road wear and tear. Trilaminar fabric made of durable polyester with PVC inner coating guards against scratches and minimizes moderate impact.

Thanks to a "roof" opening for making adjustments on the rear access panel; the cover may be left on during use. Intelligently designed, the front cover folds up and attaches to the top of the speaker, while the acoustically transparent mesh layer provides resistance to water. The case features an inner pocket for storing accessories, and a handle slit for carrying it so you don't have to remove the cover.

Q: 7. What stand do you use with this Boom? The boom stands on B&H don't seem to have 1 1/8 studs.

A: I use mine with an Avenger A5034 and it's solid as a rock! The wheels make it easy to roll around and lock in place with a foot bump.

A: Yamaha recommends 8 ohms as the minimum impedance for any connected speakers.

[2.55 lb] Debated between this an a simple slip cover at half the price. Glad I went with this cover. Extremely well thought out (cover can stay on when setting up at outdoor venues, see product videos from Yamaha). Cover fits very snug (stays put when moving cabs) and the features are really well designed. Rugged, more protection than a simple slip cover. DXRs are not cheap. Do the smart thing and buy a decent cover these fit the bill if touring or playing local venues. 5

[2.55 lb] Here's a great example of a manufacturer that didn't phone it in... sometimes equipment coverings are like poorly-fitting sheets, or made of some garbage material, but these fit like a glove and are built to last! And for the price, they built in some really useful weatherproofing features that you're not going to find with so many other brands. If I had to nitpick this thing, it would be that the bottom of the cabinet is left uncovered. An additional zippered flap would have made this thing absolutely perfect, but if you've got a cabinet you just dropped hundreds of dollars on, this cover is a no-brainer! 5

[2.55 lb] Bought one first for my Yamaha DXR15 and pleasantly surprised how practical and well designed/made of this product. You can keep the cover on all the time. It keeps the DXR speaker from scratch and water damage. Then I purchase another one shortly even I already have another style Yamaha cover. Highly recommended must have item. BH has the best price and service for this item from a short search. 5
