Q: 3. CAN I ORDER A BATTERY PLATE THAT WILL ALLOW ME TO USE NIKON EN-EL13 BATTERY?

A: We do not carry a plate for this monitor that would work for the Nikon battery.

Q: 4. What is recommended milliAmp/Amp and/or Wattage rating of the external power supply? (Thanks for the 7.5-24 VDC range previously answered. If the powersupply is plugged into the monitor will/can it also change the L-series battery?

A: I just used a 12V 2A adapter for an external HDD and it is working perfectly.For Charging, I measured 11.8V on the L-Battery bracket, so I think it will charge (contact the manufacturer to get a better answer on this)

Q: 5. What cable will i need to power this monitor with a battery plate such as the tilta universal power supply system? I feel that there are multiple options, which one is best?

A: If you are using the ikan Tilta Universal Power Supply System for 15mm Rod Based Systems, I would use the IndiPRO Tools D-Tap to Sony L-Series Type Battery Dummy (30 ) B&H # INMINISNL or the 24 IndiPRO Tools D-Tap to Sony L-Series Power Converter. This goes from the d-tap on the battery plate to the Sony L plate on the monitor.

A: Both monitors are active with Sony FS7 camera.

Q: 8. Does this monitor come with a battery?

A: No, it does not come with a battery. It comes with a NP-F970 Battery Plate that uses NP-F970 Batteries. Here is one suggestion for comparable batteries. Watson NP-F975 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (7.4V, 7800mAh) B&H # WANPF975.

[1024 x 768] I bought this monitor because HD SDI connectivity and size that is fit into 19 rack system. Colors is somewhat hard to set, but once set, it works fine. 5

[30000 Hours] We are a homeowners association and use this monitor at our front gate system to review video when needed. It is in a ventilated box with the rest of our surveillance equipment, but it it outside and we are in north central Florida, so it gets very hot in the summer months. This monitor stands up to the extreme heat and continues to give us excellent quality video. We are extremely pleased with this monitor. 5

[4.645 lb] This is a great little battery pack for a camera mounted monitor. It plugs right in so you don't have to use a wall charger. It lasts a long time and it's relatively light weight. The price is a little steep but hey! So is everything in the film industry. Bottom line, great battery pack. 5

[9.7"] This display is crystal clear and is a great space saver. We installed ours in the back of a rack, with a shelf in front of it for KVM access. We have a 8x8 matrix sending it signals, and it always looks great. 5
