The Kawai VPC1 Virtual Piano Controller Essentials Bundlefrom Kawai VPC1 Virtual Piano Controller Essentials Bundlesimply does one thing; it provides a real grand piano keyboard experience in a USB/MIDI controller form. Features include graded hammer weighting, ivory-like key surfaces, let-off simulation, and bass note counterweights. Additionally, the controller includes a three-pedal unit that delivers damper (with half damper support), soft, and sostenuto pedal control. Aside from these functions, the controller presents a clutter free design, without any knobs, buttons, or faders, just a wide top surface for a laptop, mouse, or favorite semi-weighted keyboard.

Keyboard response curves are important for tailoring the feel of the piano keys across the entire range. Five built-in touch curves from a selection of popular virtual piano packages have been approved by the individual software developers, while further customization is available using the included editor software. Communication with a PC or Mac computer is provided via USB, which can also power the controller. For controlling external synthesizers or piano modules, MIDI in and out ports are also provided.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this fit my Nikon D4 DSLR? (6 inches tall and wide)

A: The f-stop Kashmir UL 30L Backpack Essentials Bundle (Black/Blue) comes with a f-stop Shallow ICU Camera Bag (Black, Medium) which will not fit a Pro-DSLR like the D4. The f-stop PRO ICU Camera Bag (Black, Large) will not fit a D4 as well.

Q: 2. Can it be considered a carry on on a plane?

A: This would be too big to be carry-on luggale on most airlines.

Q: 3. Is there a system with five cameras?

A: No, we do not currently have a version of the PTZOptics Producer-4K Camera & Controller Bundle (Gray) that has five cameras in the bundle. You could add this bundle and two PTZOptics Move 4K SDI/HDMI/USB/IP PTZ Camera with 20x Optical Zoom (Gray), BH #PT20X4KGYG3, to your cart to get the package you are wanting.

Q: 4. what is the maximum focal length of the camera?

A: PTZOptics Move 4K SDI/HDMI/USB/IP PTZ Camera (BH #PT20X4KGYG3) has focal length of 6.2- 125mm. The camera also has 20x optical zoom and 16x digital zoom.

Q: 5. Can you access the bag through the back panel? Or, in order to reach your gear, do you always need to remove the ICU through the top opening?

A: Yes you can access the gear from the back side

Q: 6. How are the inner dividers in this bag arranged? The website shows zero photos of the inter of the bag.

A: The backpack is practically empty, you would need the medium f-stop Shallow ICU (https://bhpho.to/2yUtVBP) if you'd like to put any camera equipment inside.

Q: 7. F-stop gives this bag a torso length of 13.5, my C7-illiac crest torso length measurement is 17.5-18 inches. And hiking medium backpacks have torso lengths of 16-17, I have have to wonder if this LOKA will fit me at 5-9 height and for hikes of 6-9 hours in length. In the f-stop photos, it looks like the hip belt rides above rather than at the level of (over) the illac (hip) bones. So will this bag fit and be comfortable with 15-18 pounds of gear?

A: The f-stop Loka UL Backpack (Black/Blue, 37L) would be a good backpack for hiking usage needs, and as it is adjustable, it may work for your planned usage. However, as every individual is different, do note that the f-stop Loka UL Backpack (Black/Blue, 37L) may be returned within 30 days of the delivery date for a refund or exchange. As such, that should give you enough time to load the bag and test its fit on your body. If you are not happy with its performance, you may return it for an exchange or refund.

Q: 8. Can I use the small ICU with this bag and will it be counted as a carry on with the airlines?

A: The ICU it comes with goes inside the bag so it will be counted as one carry on with the airlines.

Q: 9. What size (In Liters) water bladder will it take? Will a Sigma 60-600mm Sports lens Canon mountable fit? Will the Canon 100-400 IS II fit? What is the warranty on this pack, I see no mention of it. Thank you for your time.

A: According to the manufacturer, the f-stop Mountain Series Sukha 70L Backpack Essentials Bundle (Matte Anthracite Black) (and al other Mountain-series packs from f-Stop) may fit up to a 3 Liter hydration bladder.

Q: 10. what is the largest ICU you can use?

A: The f-stop Mountain Series Lotus 32L Backpack Essentials Bundle (Matte Anthracite Black) comes with the medium ICU and that is the largest it will fit.

[87 lb] No complaints so far other than weight. It sounds wonderful and feels almost like a real piano.

[87 lb] Very convincing feel. Heavy, but to my mind that is a good trade off considering how much like a real piano this plays.

[87 lb] I don't usually write reviews but wanted to add one here about this specific bundle. Before ordering, I was skeptical of the stand that comes with it. With something like the VPC1 you don't want a flimsy stand. But looking at the pictures, it seemed to be identical to the K&M Omega, which is $200 and one of the most highly regarded keyboard stands on the market. I took a chance and placed the order. Sure enough, on the shipping notice I could tell the manufacturer was K&M. Now that it's sitting peacefully in my house, I can verify that it is indeed the K&M Omega. So yeah, for $60 more than the standalone VPC1, you get a $200 stand that is absolutely top-notch. As for the bench and the pedals ... BH should just chuck the pedals from the bundle because the Kawai comes with pedals. The bench is fine. Basic, but fine. Really, this is just one of the better values I've come across and I'm still kind of blown away. Thanks, BH. Oh, and while I'm at it, I might as well comment on the VPC1 itself. I bought it blind because I couldn't find one in a store to sample. I haven't played too many high-end digital pianos, but I can tell you, in the little bit I've played it today, this keyboard is lights-out phenomenal. I've never played a better digital keyboard. Bummer now is it's time invest in some better virtual pianos, like the Ravenscroft.

[87 lb] The product was received quickly, and in perfect condition. My daughter loves it, as do I. The keyboard performs all functions correctly and sounds great in any setting. We couldn’t be more satisfied with our purchase.

[87 lb] The Kawai VPC1 has completely realistic piano action, with full length keys, Graded hammer weighting + counterweights
triple-sensor key detection, let-off simulation (allowing for the keys to be rapidly re-pressed before the key returns to fully up). The triple sensors add to accurate dynamic control while using virtual pianos such as Pianoteq. The stand included in this package is solid, and very well built with excellent fit and finish. Highly recommended!

[87 lb] The Vpc1 is the best midi controller on the market. As per my research from other reviews on various piano sites, the included foot pedal really is garbage. Out of the box, it has a flutter which is visible in my daw and is audible. Shame on Kawai for not changing this pedal for all the years they have been selling the Vpc1. Many reviewers went through the process of returning the foot pedal and getting a new one only to find after a couple of weeks the noise and flutter was back. Mine is already on the closet shelf and my Roland rp 3 pedal arrives tomorrow along with a purchase of a Midi Expression iO to compliment the new pedal with the Vpc1. So if you buy the Vpc1, just know you may need to spend another $300 for the perfect setup.

[87 lb] This is a top of the line keyboard. Most every review you read or hear tells you it feels and acts just like an acoustic piano. Well that is totally true. I'm using this in my Studio for the purpose of rehearsal and recording. I connected it to a Mac laptop. Found out after the VPC-1 arrived that to get quality audio you need a USB to audio converter. So I got a Focusrite unit that does a fantastic job. You plug the USB out of your laptop (or computer) into the converter and you get stereo audio that you can send to a mixer of amp.
