A: The original Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8G ED Lens would fit, though it would be a snug fit. However, the new Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8E ED VR Lens released last year would not be recommended for use with this case, as the above case would be too small for the newer lens.

[Zipper] These things are tough! I have other Ruggard cases and backpacks. Great lens protection. Very thick walls and bottom padding. Nicely made, and haven't had any issues with any of their products. Priced right as well. 5

[1.28 lb] It’s as perfect as could be for a lens that it was not custom built to hold. Construction quality is good. It has a loop that functions as a carry handle, as well as a shoulder strap. I just ordered a neutral density filter for the lens that lives in this case, and there’s a mesh pocked in the lid that should be perfect for that. 5

[Black] This is a big lens case. Bigger than I imagined; however, I would almost bet you could play football with the lens in the case and It would be perfectly protected. 5

[Black] I bought this lens case as Nikon is now sending large lens cleaning cloths with pockets and calling that a lens case. Seriously, Nikon? Back to this case: well designed and padded with a secure zipper closure. Comes with carrying strap if you need one. Was a little tall for the 100 - 400 Z lens, but room enough for the 1.4 Z teleconverter, too. Happy with this case and B&H, not happy about spending $2700.00 and not getting a case with the lens. Just my two cents. 5

[Black] I got this case to protect my Nikon 180-600mm lens I recently purchased. It is an ideal size for the lens and it provides good protection all around, plenty of padding. I have Ruggard Lens Cases for all of my lenses and I have always been very satisfied with this brand. I can easily recommend this brand. 5

[Yes] This Ruggard Lens Case 5 x 3.5 is the perfect fit for the Tamron 28 - 200 mm lens. The materials are high quality, light reflective waterproof and moisture resistant. It is a rugged case that provides good cushion. The cover has an inside mesh pocket that can hold a filter. It has a comfortable Velcro lock on belt attachment and a great shoulder strap. Overall, it is a great value. 5

[Zipper] All I can say is Wow, My lens will be fully protected with this case. There is plenty of padding on all sides and several ways to carry it or attach it to my camera bag. Well worth every penny I spent. 5
