Fitment will vary by body shape and size, but it is adjustable across a range of larger torsos specifically to address the issue you mention. There is no specific minimum size given by the manufacturer, but given user experiences we could recommend it for persons wearing at least a large US size shirt or larger (e.g. XL, XXL, XXL, etc.). You may also want to wear a sweatshirt (A.K.A. jersey, jumper, etc.) underneath it for additional padding, better fitment, and more comfort. Some users have sewn the straps to be shorter to fit medium-size torsos. Others have added padding by opening the zippers in the pads, removing the internal foam padding, and tracing those included pads on pieces of foam that were subsequently cut out to add to or make new pads to put back inside the (zippered) padding holders. A: Two considerations here. 1. Since the tube that interfaces the arm to the rig is not a standard, it depends what the two diameters are. Unfortunately, the manufacturer's do not list this information. 2. You need keep the HD4000 and camera set up to 5.5 lbs or over in order for the arm to work. If you are not aware, there is a large Steadicam community out there. There are forums that are available to you that probably have user experience in this combination.
