The CAME-TV DSLR Shoulder Support for 15mm LWS RodsProvides comfort and support when using a shoulder rig that uses 15mm LWS rods. This shoulder supports slides onto your support rig and features a two-piece shoulder pad that rests on the front and back of your shoulder, preventing the hard metal rods of the rig from pressing down on your shoulder.

Made from CNC Machined aluminum, the shoulder support balances strength and weight. The attached 15mm LWS rod clamps enable positioning of the support quickly and easily along your rig, and feature a spring-loaded locking lever so you can position the lever where you need it.

Q: 1. Can you get the vct shoulder plate separately? I already have the top v-mount plate, which I like very much.

Q: 2. Is this stabilizer Arca-Swiss compatible?

A: The camera plate is propitiatory, it is not Arca-Swiss Compatible.

Q: 3. Can this work with a ronin or ronin m ?

A: The CAME-TV post is 16mm. The GyroVu Universal Armpost Adapter for DJI Ronin/Ronin-M/MX B&H # GYGVDJIUAPH is supposed to take 16mm posts.

Q: 4. What is the difference between the CAME-TV H4 and this P06?

A: They both will handle the same load equally well. The difference comes down to price and and the fact the expensive one is in stock and the cheaper one may take 8 months to arrive.

Q: 5. Does this have a thread on the bottom of it as well?

A: There is no thread on the bottom of this lens support.

Q: 6. Will this mount to a standard Sony VCT tripod plate?

A: The Chrosziel Lightweight Shoulder Support for Sony FX6 has a V mount on the bottom and will engage with a Sony VCT type tripod.

Q: 7. Is this compatible with the Ursa Mini Viewfinder?

A: This is designed to be compatible with the URSA Mini. The top handle is like the OEM version so it should hold the Mini's Viewfinder without issue. Unfortunately, we are not able to test these items.

Q: 8. Similar question, how will this work with the Panasonic EVA-1? Looks like an okay fit.

A: While the bottom plate will probably fit, the other parts, the top handle and the handgrip arm will not fit at all. The BMD handgrip attaches via an Arri rosette while the EVA-1 grip has a proprietary bayonet. You could consider this Came-TV base. Q: 9. I bought this thing. There is no instructions included. The height doesn't adjust. It is not user friendly! Are there instructions online???

[15mm LWS rods] Tried using two tripods or rolling cstands but this may be a much better option. one rolling cstand or tripod with these arms seems even more stable and easier to move around while on set. Clamp arm does fit the bottom of a cstand. 5

[15mm LWS rods] Building a LUMIX MFT shoulder rig with Tilta Nano follow-focus. The DG Vario-Summilux 10-25 and 25-50 1.7 zooms have a little lateral flex that causes the Nano to skip teeth on the focus ring and shake the (beautiful) lens. The Cavision lens support is exactly the solution, holding the lens steady against the lateral push of the follow-focus gear. Kudos to B&H support for finding this product; just ordered a second unit. 5

[1.45 lb] This is a great 19mm and 15mm Rod plate. Solid, good built, great design. There's only one catch to think of. If you look at all other 15/19 rod accessories, you will see the 15mm holes slightly adjusted higher so they are on the same height as the 19mm holes. The Cavision has the 15 and 19 holes aligned right down the center. It's not a problem for my setup, but it is something to think about. 5

[15mm LWS rods] I upgraded to this because on my Smallrig one, the column was so long that I frequently couldn't set the camera flat when it was attached. This one fixed that for me and feels a lot more substantial as well. My only issue is the 1/4 20 adapter. It tends to get stuck to the lens instead of staying on the support. Not a big deal, but it also is perfectly cylindrical, with no flat edges, so it's difficult to remove. I usually have to wrap a rubber band around it to get a grip on it. 5
