[5/8"-27 Male] I needed this stand because I'm teaching so much on line through the CoVid-19 time. Trial and error led me to discover sitting right in front of my computer is the best position for my students to see both hands when I demonstrate passages and techniques. This stand makes my life so much better. Thanks B&H for offering this product and getting it to me in a timely fashion.

[2.95 lb] This is the shorter version of the full-size mic stands Atlas has been selling for decades. The base is amply sized and the clutch is heavy duty. I use it as a table-top stand for heavier mics. Matches nicely with the Pb21xeb boom, but you can attach a side-address condenser right on top.

[5/8"-27 Male] Great in-between size. Heavy base. Works well with a boom arm.

[2.95 lb] Exactly what I needed. I was getting used to practicing guitar with my music sitting on a chair while hunching over it. Now I can practice my instrument using proper posture without having a lot of apparatus taking up space.

[2.95 lb] I do professional location audio and primarily use a boom pole 99% of the time.  Every now and then the client requests an impromptu voice over session and prefers the feel/vibe of a mic stand to address a microphone.  I keep the TAMA Tour Tabletop Stand and a Tour Straight Stand in my van for such situations.  Im a huge fan of TAMA Iron Works Stands because of their superior build quality.  The Tour Series is a great option--weight wise--for portability and moving around.  For my home studio I prefer the TAMA Studio stands with their extra weight and stability.  This Tabletop Stand works equally well in both of those realms.  TAMA resolved an age old design flaw of other brand mic stands that screw into their bases.  Over time the center post threads can strip or break.  TAMA solved this issue by having the center post insert into a sleeve in the base and fastening from underneath with a T-fastener.  TAMA mic stands are living proof of the old adage buy nice or buy twice.  These are nice stands that should easily outlive you.

[5/8"-27 Male] This little stand has a substantial base, and is stable enough to hold a small powered speaker for use a wedge monitor. The large base prevents most things I have placed on it from being Top Heavy. Good little stand.

[Aluminum] Solid stand without any flex, and has a great finish which is very slightly textured paint so things don't slide around on it. Stand fits perfectly atop my Yamaha Motif 88 key keyboard. Yes It arches over, but doesn't touch the control screen and some buttons - but I'm not needing to switch settings or presets when playing piano sheet music.
