Use V-Mount batteries to power your C300 Mark II camera with this Core SWX V-Mount Battery Plate. A locking camera connection terminates an integrated 18" cable and provides 11 to 17 VDC of power to the camera. If you wish to power other accessories, there are two available D-Tap ports on the plate which provide 11 to 17 VDC of unregulated power.

Q: 1. Does not seem compatible with Anton Bauer’s own Titon SL V90 Gold Mount battery (i.e., one of the lightest V-mount batteries I could find). This is baffling to me. Am I missing something???

Q: 2. Can you use multiple outputs simultaneously or just one at a time? I want to power my Sony FS7 and a monitor with just one v-mount battery.

A: Yes you can. This will connect directly to the FS7 for power and has D-Tap power ports you can use to power accessories from.

Q: 3. Does this come with the 2 top mounting screws?

A: Yes, but it doesn't sit flush and the inside connector that connects to extension unit is exposed to the elements. It works but needs to be redesigned.

Q: 4. Would this be compatible with the FS5?

A: We're afraid not. This mount directly on to the back of the Sony FS7 and it not compatible with the FS5.

Q: 5. Will this fit an FS7 on a Tilta-Rig baseplate? It looks long, I wonder if it will jam into the 15mm rail mounts on the back of the Tilta plate.

A: I'll answer my own question.... as I went and bought the thing...Yes the plate too long (tall) to fit an FS7 on a Titla rig base plate but you can take the back 15mm rail mounts off of the Tilts and you are good to go.

Q: 6. Is this compatible with the Canon C200?

A: Yes it should be. The C300 Mark II and C200 use the same power system.

Q: 7. Does anyone know if this will fit the Sony FS7 mark 2?

A: CORE has informed us that all of their FS7 products will fit the FS7M2.

Q: 8. Why does this photo show a two pin Lemo port but the unit only has a D-tap and USB?

A: This battery plate is designed to be a part of a full rig for your C300 Mark II. For example, if you have a rig with 15mm rods, such as B&H # SHC300SM from Shape, you would just need a cheese plate with a 15mm connection. [V-Mount] Works great. Unlike what is described in an earlier review, the adapter automatically switch from battery to external power when a 12V power source is plugged into the 4-pin XLR. If the 4-pin XLR is disconnected, then the camera reverts automatically to battery power. There is no power interruption at all. 5

[11 to 17 VDC ] Not sure why some of the other reviews are so negative -- this has been a truly great piece of gear for my Komodo kit & easily works with many different sized v mount batteries. Never an issue, as with most core swx products. 5

[0.61 lb] I chose this plate after quite a bit of research and with the knowledge that it is Red Approved, unlike many other options. I'd read a few accounts of defects, but decided to see for myself. I definitely made the right decision. I've had no issues whatsoever after about 100 hours on set, and probably 50 hours of recreational shooting. The plate is tight to the camera and keeps the battery secure even when pressing it against my chest for extra stability when handheld. I'd have preferred another d tap port, but most batteries have at least one on them. 5

[V-Mount] There's no real question here, this is a must-have. I use V-mount batteries for my other Red, lights, random other gear so adding this V-mount to the KOMODO was necessary. I definitely didn't want to add a whole new battery system to my gear bag with all the other cables, chargers, etc I travel with. This thing pops on and off with ease and pairs well with Core SWX batteries. Highly recommend. 5

[11 to 17 VDC ] I tried two other plates, and Core's plate is the best. It's like RED made it. It reads battery information, fits perfectly and is dependable. This is the plate to get. 5

[V-Mount] Excellent V-Mount plate for the Komodo as I was skeptical at first from the previous reviews just had to find out for myself and great product with no problem at all.. 5
