[6 VDC, 700 mA] The motor is a little noisy and the speed adjustment is somewhat finicky but over all gets the job done.

[6 VDC, 700 mA] This was purchased to remotely pan and tilt a church sanctuary camera during live internet broadcasts. Our concerns were that it would be jerky movement or that the motor noises would disturb the worship service. I'm happy to report that our Bescor unit operates in almost complete silence... even if you stand next to the unit. And the motion is very smooth.
I must add that the tilt motor is very slow compared to the pan and the speed control seems to make very little difference in the actual speed of the movement. For the cost it is exactly what we needed and I would recommend it for any remote filming that does NOT require quick reaction motion... aka sports events.

[6 VDC, 700 mA] This product does just what I wanted it to. It provides really smooth pans and tilts on my jib. The speed range is very usable, they didn't bother to add high speeds that are not really practical. Just a range of nice slower smoother pans that look natural and professional. The tilt is just as good, but doesn't have a lot of range. It so far has been enough, though, for the shots I need to get. With a little practice, you can learn to time the movements of a jib or slider to match the speed of the head, keeping focus on a subject as the whole rig is moving. Nice. I like that it runs on batteries, and the included remote has a cable long enough for most uses, and a longer one available.

[6 VDC, 700 mA] This unit does the job we needed. the only thing would be a little more adjustment in the speed control to move slower, to prevent over-shoot during panning. This allows our group to operate the ZOOM meeting with one person.

[0.2 lb] Pan/Tilt heads are generally very expensive.   But most the time, you just need something simple and inexpensive to get the shot you need, such as a camera high off the ground that cant be reached.  The Bescor is excellent!  It runs from 4 AAs for much longer than needed for all-day work.

[0.2 lb] As a medium-sized church, we can never find enough camera operators. So by using this to control the third camera, along with a LANC extension cord and control, our switcher operator can easily change shots to improve production values. The pan/tilt is smooth and the speed control of the pan/tilt works fairly well, not perfect, but not bad. Everyone is very pleased with the product.

[6 VDC, 700 mA] Got the unit installed today, very easy installation, the only issue I’ve experienced is when you slow the rotation, it doesn’t rotated left in slow motion. I can deal with that.?
