Acon Digital DeFilter - Automatic Equalization Plug-Infrom Acon Digital DeFilter - Automatic Equalization Plug-Inis a plug-in for evening out tonal imbalances in a recording, or reducing resonant peaks or dips in the frequency spectrum. Severe issues such as comb filter effects, or standing waves from untreated rooms can also be addressed. Additionally, the software can match recordings to target profiles such as music or speech, or alternatively extract the overall timbre from the source. Frequency-dependent correction levels can be defined using custom curves, allowing the plug-in to focus in on problematic frequency ranges while leaving other frequency regions untouched. Real-time spectrum analyzers for both the input and output signals visualize the effect on the frequency spectrum.

Q: 1. What orientations are available via rotation? Left/right facing? Up/down facing? Any locks or clicks in between, or is it a tension held system? Thanks! Looking for one of these ASAP!

A: The Sennheiser AVX EKP rotates clock wise and counter clock wise. It also has detentes and will click into place when you rotate the receiver. Its a very cool system, it was designed primarily for run and gun applications.

Q: 2. One thing that is kind of unclear from the overview, video and all sources I have read online is what powers the receiver. I understand that if you use it with the 3.5mm output for a DSLR you will need the supplied power pack. But if it is connected via XLR to a camera that supplies phantom power will it be able to work endlessly just from the cameras power or does it still need the power pack. The weight of the item is listed without the weight of the power pack. If you need this power pack even with phantom power through XLR, how much is the total weight with power pack?

A: The receiver has a small battery attached. This is the way it's powered. When the receiver is attached to an xlr connection and phantom power is switched on the unit will see the phantom power and shut off and turn on when the camera is turned off or on. The xlr on the camera Does Not power the receiver. It only acts to save the on board battery of the receiver when the camera is turned off/on. The receiver battery lasts for approx. 4 hours.

Q: 3. will this work on Nikon Z 7ii camera body?

A: Yes, the Viltrox Automatic Extension Tube Set for Nikon Z is designed to work on Z series mirrorless cameras by Nikon, including the Nikon Z7 II Mirrorless Camera (B&H # NIZ72).

Q: 4. Can this be charged/powered by a regulated Dtap to microUSB cable (5v) like this one? GyroVu D-Tap to Micro-USB Regulated Adapter Cable (30")

A: Yes, that particular Dtap cable should work for charging the BA20 battery.

Q: 5. Can you use this wireless microphone & receiver for vocals only with a mixer?

A: The Sennheiser AVX EKP Camera-Mount Digital Plug-In Receiver is just the receiver only, not a complete system with a wireless microphone. But this receiver can be connected to any device with an XLR mic input, like a professional camera, recorder, amplifier, or mixer. You can use the receiver with the included XLR to 1/8" (3.5 mm) DSLR adapter cable to connect it to a camera, recorder, or other device with a 3.5mm mic input or use it together with an additional a 1/4" adapter to connect it to a 1/4" mic input. The complete system with a handheld mic/transmitter is the Sennheiser AVX-835 SET Digital Camera-Mount Wireless Cardioid Handheld Microphone System (B&H # SEAVX835SET4).

Q: 6. I have receptor trouble wont let me pair if i press the pair button all the green leds turn on and then it shut off it self, any idea about the problem? Thanks

A: In order to assist you it would be helpful to know which transmitter you are using with the AVX EKP receiver. There are two options -- the Sennheiser SK AVX Digital Bodypack Transmitter - 1.9 GHz (B&H # SESKAVX4) and Sennheiser SKM AVX-835S Digital Handheld Microphone Transmitter - 1.9 GHz (B&H # SESKMAVX8354). The receiver and transmitter must both be powered on and within line of sight of each other in order to pair them. The transmitter and receiver need to be within close proximity and able to "see" each other during setup. Please be aware that other Sennheiser transmitters like those from the Evolution series or the XS series (which operate on the UHF band) or XSW-D series (which operates on the 2.4 GHz band) are not compatible for use with the AVX series receiver. Please contact us by phone or through live chat on the website if you have additional questions or if you would like further assistance to troubleshoot the problem.

Q: 7. Is it possible to run up to 6 pairs(that is 6 transmitters linked to its corresponding receivers) at the same time.

A: Yes, up to 8 Sennheiser AVX EKP Camera-Mount Digital Plug-In Receivers and their corresponding transmitters can be used simultaneously within the 98' operating range.

Q: 8. Will the mixer automatically set the microphone sensitivity? And does it have a limiter?

A: You will have to initially set the mic levels. Then it will open the mic when someone speaks. Yes it has a limiter. A Multi-pin Logic connection provides Mute, Gate and Override remote control options.

Q: 9. Can the receiver be powered/charged via a Dtap source? (DC 11.9-17v, Unregulated). With a Dtap to Microusb cable?

A: The voltage of the Dtap unit would be too much for the battery to handle. A standard usb power brick can be used to charge the batteries. BH #RARPPB010.

Q: 10. Can it be charged via D-Tap power source? (DC 11.9-17v) With a D tap to Micro USB cable? And is it operable while plugged in?

A: You could use the AVX with a D-Tap power source, however you would need to ensure the voltage out to the unit is 5v. Here's a cable that could regulate the power: BH #GYDTAPMUSBLC. The AVX can be powered via micro-usb while in use.

[1 User] ... I've been a convention stenographer since 1976. When I'm on an assignment where there's lots and lots of mics, I count on Shure automatic mixers to deliver a bright, clean audio feed to my headset and digital recorder. When there's lively floor debate at a house of delegates or legislative session, there's no time for hesitation. With Shure automatic mixers, I know I'm going to hear the speaker's name the instant it's spoken, not a second or two later. And forget about running a manual mixer with all slides brought up until the room rings with feedback. Only active mics are activated -- instantly, intellently and automatically -- with the Shure SCM410. Say good-bye to muddy sounding manual sound systems. Move up to the SCM410. It's lightweight, compact, easy to set up. Dial it in and forget about it. It's the one thing you won't have to worry about at your next

[1 User] Bought this to add a third Mike to my existing two Mike setup. The setup included 3 transmitters, two lavaliers and one hand held, but only 2 receivers. This, along with a simple 3 input mixer, allowed for simultaneous use of all three microphones.

[Download] Was producing a talk show with six guests, for the pilot season we didnt have an automatic mixer. It was very challenging trying to ride the mic levels through taping, this gave us hours of audio mixing on each 1hour episode. After a bit of research I came across the auto mixer by shure. I order to and linked them to get 8 channels. It made filming the live talk show a pleasure from the audio perspective. The mixer keeps one mic open at a time and switches automatically to the mic which is being used. Awesome!!!!!

[1 User] I needed to remove the sound of a river running over rocks from a video I was editing. The river over powered the dialog of the persons speaking. I was able to reduce the sound so that it was low and in the background. The project came out really nice.

[Download] If you are doing multi cam broadcast or complex routing this is a great device. I have it routed as the first stop for my inputs it displays the incoming and then reclocks the signal and loops it out to the switcher and I do the same with the outputs as well. The audio waveform display has saved me in troubleshooting many times.
This is a great product and functions perfectly.
The little screens don't look amazing color wise but thats not what they are for this is a confidence monitor / reclocker.

[Download] We use the SCM410 in a classroom setting where there are fixed microphones in key places (at the lectern, at the whiteboard, etc.). Instructors can move seamlessly from one station to another and the mixer will automagically recognize that the prior microphone has gone dead (and basically mute it) while prioritizing the new microphone the person just moved to. It removes all thinking and headache out of mixing audio in a small-ish space. Shure did a really nice job with this.
