[Solid-State] Purchased this item to announce high school basketball games over the PA system. The first test was our tournament 22 games in 6 days and it worked great. The sound was clearer than the hand held mic. Would highly recommend. Ron from Missouri

[Mono] Don't have enough money to buy a Schoeps? Obviously that's the Gold Standard, but the AT does an admirable job and it fit our budget a little better.

[Hypercardioid] We were looking for a mic that would work with vocals and instruments for Old Time and Bluegrass bands. This mic is better than we dreamed. Easy to balence. Works great with our small mixer. Great price, great product!

[Mono] I have been in search of a headset to do live sports for some time. I tried several head sets (many higher priced than this one) and I could never get them to just work out of the box. My past experiences with microphones had always led me to phantom powered mics and that was the direction I had taken for this mic to start with. Turns out the dynamic mic was the best solution for my situation. I will not overlook dynamics again. I am using this mic with a Peavey PV 6 BT with a USB connection to the computer to interface with Wirecast.

[End Address] Can't believe how long it took me to learn that shotguns aren't a good choice for interior dialogue. Upgraded to the 4053b from an NTG 2 and haven't looked back.

[Mono] Great sound for great $$$. Considerably less expensive than its competition and sounds nice. The sound I got from it took EQ well. Pair it with the Rycote Softie-Lite 21 Fur Screen Kit (21 mm), a nice boom pole and you'll be a happy camper.

[Mono] Well worth the price for all day (8-10 hours) of comfort while teaching remote classes via Zoom. These also provide better audio quality for my voice which is important for my work. If quality and comfort, at an affordable price is what you are looking for, then you have found the right headset.

[Mono] I've been using cheaper overhead mics for my video production company for years . . . generally, the audio was good, but never crisp . . . this mic has changed everything! Professional, tight, clear microphone. This is a pro mic and at a great price.

[End Address] I use it as a vocal mic to complement a stand-held PG 58. The Pro8 has the clarity and response that I had come to expect from the Shure, not so for the more expensive ATM 73 which I recently sold. Another important feature is that the mic holder is hinged at the temple. It can be easily moved up out of the way and back again without affecting the gooseneck adjustment. ...and it is comfortable to wear. What's not to like!

[Black] We started using these for the guitarists on our church worship team - they work so well we had to get more for the other instrumentalists and vocalists who want their hands free to praise & worship!!
They plug into the mic cable and remove the clutter of mic stands on the platform. They have excellent voice pick up and no big mic in the face!
